A heady read that makes you savor every minute of this story and wish you could read it again and again. A bit confusing at the beginning but definitely worth the wait. Be prepared for some active listening though because you'll be sad to miss any second of this masterpiece.

Historia
Returning to the territory he so brilliantly explored in his masterful New York Times best seller American Gods, the incomparable Neil Gaiman offers up a work of dazzling ingenuity, a kaleidoscopic journey deep into myth that is at once startling, terrifying, exhilarating, and fiercely funny, a true wonder of a novel that confirms Stephen King's glowing assessment of the author as "a treasure house of story, and we are lucky to have him."

Wish I could give the performance more stars - adored this reading so much and the story was great as Gaiman always is.

Beyond Pleasantly Surprised
Revisado: 03-11-19
What I thought would be a childrens book by one of my favorite authors became something so much more, while it did follow children the almost short story-like chapters left it a perfect book for an audio format and the story tied together in a completely perfect ending in a way only Gaiman can accomplish. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go on a quiet adventure.

Most of these stories were quite good and on the whole I hadn't heard of about half of them which I think is beneficial in a collection. The quality of the reading was not annoying. The only irritating part was the "creepy" music they continued to play either in the background or in between tracks, which was mildly distracting and did not add much to the atmosphere. That said the reading was professional and did not have an errors other than this.
