Historia
Newlyweds Randy and Amalia work at her brother’s sugarcane plantation in Veracruz, Mexico—where they are both doing their best to put as much distance as they can between themselves and their shadowy pasts. But it is precisely their ill-gotten reputations that makes Amalia’s brother turn to them for help when his son, 14-year-old Quique, is kidnapped.

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Really well done, charming pleasure from beginning to end. Shockingly relatable for what should be nonsense because it's just that well witten and performed.

Historia
The world’s greatest bodybuilder. The world’s highest-paid movie star. The leader of the world’s sixth-largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke, but this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger. And this did not happen by accident. Arnold’s stratospheric success happened as part of a process. As the result of clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity, and a commitment to giving back. All of it guided by the one lesson Arnold’s father hammered into him above all: be useful.

Revisado: 10-17-23
The incredible journey of a man who is honest about his mistakes and also in his commitment to giving back. My strongest complaint of this book is that I really hoped there would be more, longer and in more detail. Aside from that one praise-complaint I highly recommend this book to anyone compelled to "be useful" in this world.

Love all these silly shows, this onemade zero sense, too many ridiculous confusing characters with way too similar problems. Good actors, terrible everything else: seemed like an ad for Las Vegas the whole time. Ending made zero sense.

And, wow. Knowing all this I'm a bigger devotee to the backstory and awkward about the current business. Regardless, congratulations to the authors for an excellent book and a perfect business reality.

It's great that it's the author speaking, but it's not a book, it's an old speech.
And, I'd prefer a pro over his particular voice screaming, "A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S.!!!".
