In Boyfriend Material, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friends...and somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc's feeling the social pressure to propose. But it'll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from "I don't know what I'm doing" to "I do". Good thing Oliver is such perfect Husband Material.

Captivating but stretched out a bit!

Situations were a bit drawn out. Bit palatable! Humor was excellent! Interaction (posh v ‘civilian’) was hilarious! I like Alexis Hall!

Sloppy narrator

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
There were so many food-related mis-pronunciations by the narrator that is was annoying: galangale, confit. Not very good research or practice and his part and sloppy editing!
In general, the book was well written and kept my attention, but I will avoid other works narrated by Todd McLaren.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Todd McLaren?
