Deadpool meets groundhog day with surprising depth

Ryan Romano is a bored deviant who can groundhog day at will. He struggles to find meaning in a life where everyone he connects with will forget him and feels responsible for every bad thing that happens. He deals with this by acting cavalier and treating life like video game, which it has mostly become for him.
At some points some of the scenes drag on a little, I chose to attribute this to translation.
Overall, this was a very entertaining, wild and surprisingly thought-provoking read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will recommend it to others.

I have been trying to find a series like this that I like for awhile. I tried childs and clancy but couldnt get behind them. As soon as I got to the dedication I knew this was it. I recognized, was familiar with or was super into everyone the first book was dedicated to. I thought about leaving a review about that even before I began the book proper.
I'm happy I waited. This book is awesome, it made me tear up several times with how sweet the MC is in his damage. It is well written, heartfelt and seems well researched.
A lot of the time with these books the author leans super right in their political ideology. This guy seems in the middle more and relatable to both.
I'll not get into the story. It's good. I listened to it in two days.
Highly recommend.

1 part Bourne 2 parts all you need is kill. I was a little trepidatious because I have only read his fantasy books (which I have thoroughly enjoyed) and I was worried the new genre might be a bust. Very pleased to be wrong.

I tore through this book. I couldn't stop myself from listening to it. I fell asleep at 7am today after listening all the day and night before. The story was gripping, the characters compelling and the end ended right, with just enough resolution and mystery for me to think about it forever.
Highly recommend.

Book is great.
Noir is my favorite. Science fiction noir is my absolute favorite. I listen a lot of books, but I return to thinking about Kiln People by David Brin and most things by Daniel Suarez more than most things.
I think I will think about this one, too.
I decided to leave a review while listening instead of at the end because this book only had 23 ratings and I felt like it needed more.
