Historia
The concept of intersectionality has become a central topic in academic and activist circles alike. But what exactly does it mean, and why has it emerged as such a vital lens through which to explore how social inequalities of race, class, gender, sexuality, age, ability, and ethnicity shape one another? In this fully revised and expanded second edition of their popular text, Patricia Hill Collins and Sirma Bilge provide a much-needed introduction to the field of intersectional knowledge and praxis.

The book is phenomenal. The narrator is not.
Revisado: 02-22-23
I have both the audiobook and a physical copy of this book. I like to listen to the audiobook while reading the physical book. This narrator makes an incredible number of mistakes with regard to the language the book uses. For example, she uses the word rationally instead of relationally in one instance. That's just one of the hundreds of examples, and these mistakes absolutely change the meaning of many sentences. I'm glad I have the book in print to fall back on.

Really?
Revisado: 03-08-22
I don't understand the hype around this book. I did not enjoy it at all. Half the book is just detailed salacious sex. The "twist" wasn't even that jarring. The narration had to be the worst for me, though. The voice of Lowen straight up sounds like a computer-generated voice. I could barely handle it.

Slow at first but...

For the first 6 hours of this book, I would’ve said it was “just okay.” I struggled to stay interested, but then it hooked me. I finished the rest of the book in a couple of days.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Absolutely fantastic!
Revisado: 12-13-18
This is probably my favorite book I've listened to this year. The story is captivating, and the narration is perfect. I quickly fell in love with Jazz, the main character. Would strongly recommend the book.

A great addition to the series
Revisado: 08-25-18
I have come to enjoy the Tracy Crosswhite series very much. I didn't like this book as much as the previous two books, but it was still great! Robert Dugoni still does a great job with unexpected twists and turns in the book.

“Meh” then “Whoa!”
Revisado: 08-14-18
I spent the first 8 hours of the book bored. I kept patiently waiting for it to pick up. Then, it started to pick up. By that point, I couldn’t stop listening, and the ending blew my mind. I gave three stars for the story just because it took so long to interesting.
