This book has a very interesting story, however there are so many holes that never seem to get filled in - that its very hard to follow the story. A little background would have save that. Most of the book you are guessing - and you rarely get an answer.
I believe this book could have been as good as Divergent orTwilight - but not knowing whats going on or even a hint at it - ruins that prospect.'
With that being said I still really liked this book, I will get the next book and see if it gets better. The narration is not good at all - if that bothers you - listen to the sample before purchase.

I really liked this book - I would have preferred Muffy Newtown to read the entire book

Muffy Newtown - she did well on both voices during her chapters

sing songy predictable fairytale story with every cliche there can be
hot gorgeous virgin meets troubled oversexed rocker . immediately fall in love within the first 36 hours but due to a bj in a diner closet with the waitress and a loud sex romp with a groupie...shes not sure.

I read a lot of similar books - and usually enjoy them even if it takes a little while - but this book was bad from start to finish.
There was no reason for the "attraction" between the two main characters - and the relationship with her brother bordered on creepy

Beautifully written story, great narration - a must listen!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ignite Me?

No spoilers..but the direction the story takes was surprising but awesome

What about Kate Simses’s performance did you like?

Kate Simses is brilliant - every character had their own voice I knew who they were as soon as she spoke - the differences were flawless - Im a fan for life

absolutely!!

I have been disappointed in the last trilogy I listened to (Divergent book 3 I'm talkin bout you!)- and this trilogy was all cohesive, and thrilling and I loved every character - my faith in the trilogy is restored!

This book is below YA, way too immature for my taste. Tarren was so selfish and pathetically uncaring about Ryans fans to the point it made me mad. Big slap in the face to any young reader who has a crush on a celebrity. Poor poor Rich beautiful people - its terrible you have to put up with people adoring you! Made me wanna puke!Hes a gorgeous actor, shes a gorgeous pub owner who also happens to have several other business going and a gorgeous home with a incredible roof top get away and never has seen one of his movies... umm this is a cartoon ..nothing realistic about it!

Probably not.

Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Love Emma Galvin - I have listen to other performances and love her.
Aaron Stanford did an ok job, didnt like his female voice but I went with it.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Allegiant?

I think I have to agree with most of the other reviews - I would totally change "the big event" and the last several chapters.

I absolutely loved the first two books! I pre ordered this one and was counting the days! But I truly would of been fine with waiting another year if that would of changed how this book came out. What a let down. Leaves you feeling like you wasted your time investing in the beloved characters and all of what happened in the first two books.
This is a seperate book and doesnt even belong with the trilogy except it has the same characters. I agree that stopping after two and making up your own ending is much much better than listening to this book.

Yes - I have recomended the Selection to many of my friends - and you HAVE to read the next part!!

That I was suprised at a few things that happened - didnt see it comming and I love that!

What about Amy Rubinate’s performance did you like?

I liked the narration and thought she did a great job with different voices - I knew who was who just by her voice

I was desperately waiting for this book to come out after reading - The Selection. I absolutely loved the first book - and I really liked the second. But I have to agree with other reviews - the love triangle did get a little too much attention and huge circumstances got a back seat. The back and forth with her decision was a huge rollercoaster and in the end came full circle to the same place we started. I am rooting for Maxton and hope that the third book can delve a little more into the surrounding circumstances that just America deciding one then the other.
