There is a proper way of getting through this book:

1. Listen to every word...
2. After each story of a particular song or session, immediately upload that song, and appreciate it as you never had before.
3. Return to the story...
4. Repeat

After listening to this book from beginning to end, I must emphatically state that this story should not be read, more precice, this story should ONLY be listened to. Matthew McConaughey reads his own story in the only way he knows how to. I feel so much would be missing by simply reading the words on a page. His execution of this book is made to keep you aware, sharp and ready for the next lesson. This should be the official first book for 2021 - its practical, bold, in your face, and teaches us that we can be flawed, fucked up, self aware, spiritual, lost and found, so long as we are never idle and dull, for the brief time we are allowed to journey through this plane called life.

I love sex and eroticism, So I decided to purchase this book. The female narrator was absolutely horrible, annoying, and so deliberate with her enunciation that I literally shut the audio off, and deleted it from my phone. The stories were completely over imagined and unrealistic. I had buyers remorse. I feel this could have been so much beter with just better audio production.

A real insight into the man who would be king...

Elvis was the King of rock and roll, but in the end, rock and roll is just a genre of music, and the King was just a man. In many ways, a very flawed and conflicted man.

It is evident that the child who lost his twin at birth spent his whole life filling that void with his Memphis mafia, women, and even running away from his issues with drugs. It was heartbreaking to accept that a man who really did have it all, was missing something so desperately.

The author does a great job in showing us Elvis the man.

Yes, it's a 50 cent book. Yes, it's a Curtis Jackson book, and Yes, it's a book from a successful and prolific artist, writer, performer, businessman and television mogul.

The book is full of advice, lessons, and examples from someone who has learmed from experience. Listening to this book, from the author, and read by the author, give it much more authenticity and a better understanding about Curtis Jackson and business in general.

Very inspiring and eye opening account of the real man behind the persona of Mr Rogers, and the revelation that they are one and the same.

I have know of Bob Lazar and his story for decades now. He has always stuck with his story, and to finally hear it all put in a coherent timeline was gratifying. His story plays out like a thriller. I have done much research into this field, and have followed the many aerospace companies, and do believe that this is all plausible and possible.

There are many out there who feel Lazar is just some impostor due to the lack of records of his past. I ask...if Bob Lazar is not who he says he is...then WHO IS HE? Where is the proof to confirm the contrary? If he is just a fraud, then where are the people from his past to come forward to state just that? His whole life has been erased, and I believe he is who he says he is.

This book was an amazing journey into the mysterious Area 51, S4, and how many private companies like EG&G, and others within the Carlyle Group have possessed Alien technology for decades. Which is fine for research and progress, but to deny the world definitive information that intelligent alien life is infact out there, and among us, is an absolute crime to this planet.

Great book.

Without Paul's voice, it's just a self help book.

"Face the Music" was amazing, and I still listen to it. As a work in progress, myself, it is not just hearing the words that inspire me, and motivate, but it is hearing them from the person themselves.

Paul's new book is informative and empowering, but falls flat at times, sounding like a typical self help book. This, I feel, is because of Paul not narrating the book himself. Sean Pratt does a very good job, but its just not the same as "Face the music"

For me, the book really kicks in once he starts referring to his fitness, image, and cooking routines. Paul is an amazing man, and I will listen to this many more times. I just wish he had done the narration himself. Its nice to walk, workout, and even drive while feeling like you have the voice of one of your heroes carrying you through the process.

This is the single best example of what an audio book should be. It is more than just a narration. This audio book is an honest and detailed account of the author's life, and read, by the author, with a delivery that is so natural, you will think he has gone of the page and is just having a casual conversation with you.

Pete is no stranger to the craft of literary writing, and the flow of the book flows very natural. The book is funny, dark, and brutally honest.

It is probably my absolute favorite audio book. I've listened to it too many times to count.

This book is exactly what it says it is - a look into the making of an album, from a producer's perspective. I will admit, this is not for the average fan. If you're looking for a story all about Fleetwood Mac, you won't find it here! That's not what this book is about. This is about how Fleetwood Mac made a classic album, and should be in the library of every major and indie artist/producer/engineer who makes records.

As an indie artist myself, you have to learn all aspects of the behind-the-scenes magic that goes on with making a record, and trust me, to the average fan, you may not know who the author is, but he is a VERY respected and notable figured in the industry. If you're into recording and engineering, this book is for you! I personally wanted more technical details about the record and gear that was used, but Ken put enough in this book, and did a brilliant job in explaining the tools of the trade so that anyone could understand.
