“Break Through the Language Barrier, Expand Your Understanding” The Amplified Bible is a Literal Equivalent translation that, by using synonyms and definitions, both explains and expands the meaning of words in the text. This unique system of translation allows the reader to more completely and clearly grasp the meaning as it was understood in the original Hebrew and Greek languages.For example, the Greek word pisteuo, which the vast majority of versions render as “believe.” That simple translation, however, hardly does justice to the many meanings contained in the Greek pisteuo: “to adhere to, cleave to; to trust to have faith in; to rely on, to depend on.”

My favorite of many audio versions

The reading is very expressive and clear. What makes it my favorite audio Bible is the amplified text. My other preferred audio versions that I also listen to are: The Passion Translation and the Listeners KJV read by Max McLean. Any by McLean are very good.

Amazing,--the best complete concise healing book.

This is the first book God led me to to take my healing of adrenal fatigue instantly. Other teachers like Andrew Wommack, Carlie Terradez, Daniel Amstutz and Rick McFarland have helped me better understand grace, healing, authority, and faith than this book alone, but this is the book I always return to that captures all the important concepts concisely in a "formula" (read the book to understand how a formula differs from a "method" and how there is just one method--Jesus.) Requires slow careful, repeated listening, and a copy of the book would help too.
