Fabulous
Revisado: 09-10-18
I absolutely LOVE this story. I love most of Nocturnal Falls books but this one in the top of my favorites from this series. I look forward to more stories written about Erika and Marshall. Short review because I don't want to take away from the joy of reading every part of the story with any spoilers. I know this is one of those on my read again list. Enjoy.

Luna Matsya is a local celebrity as a trendsetting hairstylist, but she’d prefer to spread her fin in a nice body of water rather than make a big splash around town. She’s starting to believe that her ability to live and walk among mortals is more of a curse rather than a blessing. Especially now that the flashy tent from a touring magic show is blocking her lake. Where’s a mermaid to swim when the slightest mistake can put her in the spotlight?

Another Home Run for Nocturne Falls Universe
Revisado: 07-02-18
Another beloved story in Nocturne Falls. It was a tear jerker for me. The story was great but also have to add. B.J. Harrison out did himself with even more wonderful voice and especially new accents like the ones he surprised me with in A Dragon Gambles on His Girl and others.

Historia
Ariah Callahan was raised on tales of dragons and magic and a wonderful hidden realm. The fairytales ended when her father became estranged from her beloved uncle, and cold, hard reality set in. Alazar Brandvold has made easygoing an art. He’s worked hard to ensure no one in the enchanted town of Nocturne Falls sees the tortured, serious soul inside the shameless gambler. The Firestorm dragon gets the wake-up call of his life when his Keeper comes out of hiding and shows him a treasure worth more than all the gold in his hoard.

Enough Dragon to Feed Their Mysteries
Revisado: 07-01-18
I am a Nocturne Falls addict and dearly love all I have read with one exception. This one rates in the top 5 of my Nocturne Falls reads. The story kept in line with the others in the series but yet had a very original story line that kept me wanting to read it all in one setting but didn't do it. I have a personal health problem with stories with lots of tension, and dangerous situations and causes my blood pressure to go up. So I did have to put it aside for a bit because I was so worried about 2/3 the way in. Then I went back to it and got through it. It was GREAT. That to me tells what a wonderful story teller Kira Nyte is along with B.J. Harrison with the narrator. She made each of the characters so real like so many other characters in this series. They feel like neighbors and friends whom we care deeply about.
I am very thankful to Kristen Painter for starting this wonderful series and opening up Nocturne Falls Universe to other diverse authors who have added immensely to the whole reading enjoyment of this series. I am a huge fan.

Another Great Hit in Nocturne Falls
Revisado: 06-25-18
Love the way Sela Carsen pulls us into Russian lore with intense excitement, tension, love interest.and education about facts and myth that aren't in very many books. This book has everything and it definitely fits in our beloved Nocturne Falls Universe. And of course our enjoyment of the story is further advance with B.J. Harrison doing his ever fine narrating with the emotions, the accents, words and urgency he brings to it.
Although this is not a full blown novel in length, it brings the enjoyment of one. It is the kind of story you don't want to end and hope there will be a follow up story with those characters introduced in this story that have become a member of all of our dear friends of Nocturne Falls that have a place in our hearts.

Historia
Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better. Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all. Death is what grim reaper Lucien Dupree knows best. Or rather, he did until his reaping powers became tragically unreliable. Now he’s living in a self-imposed exile to keep humanity safe. Sure, it’s a lonely existence, but it’s the best thing for everyone.

Nocturne Falls Just Gets Better and Better
Revisado: 06-20-18
Had sworn off reading another book with a reaper as the main character, having been disappointed by a different author's book.
But I decided to try this since it was written by Kristen Painter and narrated by B. J. Harrison. They are a winning team. This book is a wonderful addition to the Nocturne Falls series and I even fell in love with the Reaper (and the rest of the new characters in this volume also of course). This story had enough twists and turns to keep me trying to figure out how it would turn out. I even thought the story was going to end at one point and noticed there were still a lot of chapters to go. It extended beyond what I thought would be the end and I am so glad it did. Kristen Painter made it all pull together perfectly. B. J. Harrison is my favorite male narrator and even he surprised me outdoing his other audiobook narrations of this series. Three cheers for him. I am so glad he is the narrator for this series, it is like icing on a cake. This book will be on my 're-read later' list.

Historia
Kaylae Drayce is convinced she’s crazy. She hears voices in her head and dreams of fiery apocalyptic wars. That’s nothing compared to the terror she feels when the only people she loves are taken from her and she’s forced to run for her life all the way to Nocturne Falls. The town promises her one of two things: answers to her madness or a one-way ticket to an asylum.

Awesome story in the true nature of Nocturne Falls
Revisado: 03-13-18
Would you consider the audio edition of A Dragon Speaks Her Name: A Nocturne Falls Universe Story to be better than the print version?
I love many of the bonus books about Nocturne Falls by various authors but this one so far is my favorite. I know I will be re-reading this on a regular basis. Kira Nyte did an absolutely WONDERFUL job with this story and B J. Harrison brought it to life in his always excellent way with voices, accents, inflections, and emotions.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Dragon Speaks Her Name: A Nocturne Falls Universe Story?
I don't want to put any spoilers in this so that each new reader will have the joy of watching the events unfold in their minds.
Which scene was your favorite?
All of them. Each scene was equally important, mixed with excitement, love, and involvement in the story that included some of the regular 'people' we love so much in Nocturne Falls.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Definitely. I am looking forward to the next time I read it to hear some of the parts I missed the first time around.
Any additional comments?
This book is definitely worth a credit.

Another Nocturne Falls Success
Revisado: 02-18-18
Where does The Doctor Falls for Her Gargoyle: A Nocturne Falls Universe Story rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
In the top groups, the ones I know I will be reading over again from time to time. I love this book. The story captured my attention from the start and didn't want to put the book down.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I can't limit this question to only one. I love Elias, Sofie, and Charles. They were all great and are great additions to the Nocturne Falls community.
Have you listened to any of B.J. Harrison’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
B. J. Harrison did another excellent job with ALL of the characters. I love the way he brings all of the fabulous characters to life to join the rest of the citizens of this marvelous Universe I love. He makes me want to meet all of them in person and get to know them more.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Welcome to Nocturne Falls full of a diversity of beings that live together in one marvelous town.
Any additional comments?
I cannot imagine not having these books in my library. Cate Dean has done a wonderful job with this additional story to the others we all love. Will definitely check out other books she has written.

Laurel Barker is a nymph on a mission: find a new home for herself, her lackadaisical dog, and her tree. The free-spirited wood nymph is soul-bound to the tree she saved before it was cut down to make room for a golf course. She hopes that a town full of supernatural folks will be the haven she needs to finally put down roots. Because her tree isn't looking so hot, and if he dies, so does she. It's not a fate she cares to experience, especially after running into the too-hot-to-be-legal police officer in town.

Another great Nocturne Falls story
Revisado: 02-16-18
Where does The Nymph Next Door rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Have been listening to the books for Nocturne Falls written by other authors than Kristen Painter but this one is one of the best so far especially with B.J. Harrison as the narrator. I love this story and know I will be reading it again from time to time.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Love Laurel and Aiden equally. I look forward to hearing more about them in future books. They fit in with so many of the characters that have become 'friends' in my book reading. Very real and also added more paranormal characteristics to the mix in Nocturne Falls.
Which scene was your favorite?
I love that Aiden showed his true self to Laurel.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When the explanation about the dog and the tree was divulged.
Any additional comments?
I plan on looking for more books by this author J. L. Farey. I like her style.

Huge Pleasant Surprise
Revisado: 02-11-18
I had put off reading this book but wish I hadn't. However it was good timing because once I started it, I didn't do any of what I was planning on doing today. Instead I just listened to this because I couldn't put it down. Actually, I kept looking a the cover and the book name and was sure I was not going to want to finish it when I started it. How wrong I was.
The author did and excellent job setting up the characters, the overall 'picture' of the different species, the world of they live in (along with the politics) and she did it without it being boring in those parts. It is very well written and held my attention. In fact I often play computer games when listening to many books but couldn't with this because I wanted to pay attention to all of the details in the book. The narrator was great also.
I love it when a story makes me feel very close to the characters and everything they are experiencing. It was refreshing to have the relationship between Brishon and Ildiko move slowly without jumping immediately into a sex session like so many books. And the story did not drag at all with the way it was handled. In fact, I think it made it more intense for me. I fell in love with both of the main characters and admire the personalities of each immensely.
I definitely recommend this book. I had gotten away from paranormal romances that I used to love so much and now can't wait to get more of them again. This book is definitely worth the credit and I will be looking for more from this author/narrator pair.

A New Community of Characters To Enjoy
Revisado: 02-07-18
I love series like this that get you involved in the whole community of unusual fun and sometimes annoying characters. The narrator took getting used to how she presented the various characters some with very annoying voices and personalities. But it all worked together great with the story. I have come to really enjoy stories that take place in cities populated by a huge variety of paranormals and their interactions. The characters, their city, and the events are kind of addictive and leave us with looking forward to the next 'messy scenario' they get involved in.
