Historia
In I'll Pray for You and Other Outrageous Things Said to Disabled People, Hannah Setzer volunteers to go first and say the things that we all think, but rarely say. Hannah has lived her whole life as a disabled woman and is here to share her story, though don't think for a second that this is inspiration porn. In fact, Hannah's disability is the least interesting thing about her!

There were so many things and aspects of this lovely little book that I loved, but don't want to give away here. But I will say that the final chapter was the cream of the crop that really packed a GOOD punch to end with,

Historia
On the precipice of starting her adult life, aged eighteen, Sophie, a rebellious and incorrigible wild child, crashed her car and was instantly paralysed from the chest down. Rushed to hospital, everything she had dreamed for her life was instantly forgotten and her journey to rediscover herself and build a different life began. But being told she would never walk again would come to be the least of her concerns.

Wow. What an absolutely stunning achievement! Thank you so much for sharing your story, truly!
I had a cerebellum and brainstem hemorrhage on my precipice of launching, when I was 12; that left me in a wheelchair, unable to swallow or walk, (along with many, many more issues no one “deserves”), but yet, I found sameness/relatable differences to fill me with awe and empathy What a masterpiece!
Can I just say that I think anyone with a life-altering disability or illness should read this!! Sophie's story is so compassionate and relatable, and she has a lovely accent, it's like hearing your good friend's engrossing memoir.
