Jared Kushner’s Integrity

Jared is very careful to be accurate in what he says. He deeply values relationships and knows that broken trust can diminish if not destroy opportunities to accomplish meaningful goals. The remarkable achievements of his various teams (he is careful to share the credit) make one reflect that (like Queen Esther) perhaps he was raised up for this purpose. I’m so glad I took the time to get his (entirely credible) side of the story.

What a delight. It was a brilliant decision to have the author read the book. It’s funny, the book is mostly simple declarative sentences - but those are the best kind - and Jerry owns them - they come alive as he tells his stories. The choice of stories is fascinating too. Thanks Jerry for doing this. (P.S. my ticket stub for the 1978 Bob Dylan concert in Baltimore now means more to me because it says Jerry Weintraub presents.)

Accessible and well done

The narration is wonderfully down to earth and accessible. The writing does a remarkable job of making a complex battle understandable. (Unless you already know the battle, don’t try to absorb every detail. He doesn’t go overboard with details but of course some are necessary.) I will return to this recording again, it’s that good and that worthwhile, I am sure.

Great job of telling the story of the 2017 Eagles

Even if you’ve watched Super Bowl 52 over and over (as I have) and the wonderful NFL Films features about it, and even if you’re not an Eagles fan, this is a wonderful presentation of an excellent book and very worthwhile.

Very worthwhile

When I listened to the sample I was not sure I’d like the narration but it turned out to be just right. The book is insightful and sparked by the author’s clever wit, in other words entertaining as well as interesting and informative. Whatever your opinion of DJT, it provides important observations about him as well as the impact of TV / media generally.
