Historia
Most of us want to make a difference. We donate our time and money to charities and causes we deem worthy, choose careers we consider meaningful, and patronize businesses and buy products we believe make the world a better place. Unfortunately we often base these decisions on assumptions and emotions rather than facts. As a result even our best intentions often lead to ineffective - and sometimes downright harmful - outcomes. How can we do better?

I Want Refund
Revisado: 08-02-23
I started listening to the book and it was not what I expected. I want to do good, the part of the book I listened and the example provided for me; is a poor example for helping.

A bold and fascinating dive into the nuts and bolts of psychological evolution, Designing the Mind: The Principles of Psychitecture is part philosophical manifesto, part practical self-development guide, all based on the teachings of legendary thinkers like Marcus Aurelius, Lao Tzu, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Abraham Maslow. Historia
The fruit of the long history of John Brockman's profound engagement with the most important scientific minds who have been thinking about AI - from Alison Gopnik and David Deutsch to Frank Wilczek and Stephen Wolfram - Possible Minds is an ideal introduction to the landscape of crucial issues AI presents. The collision between opposing perspectives is salutary and exhilarating; some of these figures are deeply concerned with the threat of AI, including the existential one, while others have a very different view.

Fantastic Mosaic of Insights from Great Thinkers
Revisado: 01-13-20
I found the audio book absolutely mesmerizing. This is a philosophy-fact book. If you already have strong opinions on AI this book is a must - the author provides a mosaic of opinions which may or may not align with yours - I am in the process of reading "The Human Use of Human Beings" the 1950 / First Edition by Norbert Wiener which was a prerequisite for all those who shared their opinions within the book.
