WORST audible book EVER!

The characters and the plot, while childishly complicated, maintained a consistent degree of shallowness. The author tried very hard to introduce futuristic items and concepts which only served to reveal a lack of any scientific imagination. After giving up in frustration after a couple hours, I returned 3 separate times, thinking maybe I needed to give it another chance. Each time, after wasting a tortuous half hour or so, I bailed out laughing at my inability to learn from the previous listenings. Really the very worst, most boring audio book I've ever endured!

Terrific story

The story is fascinating and the performance is excellent. Walker tells an unlikely but captivating tale of 2 soul mates over centuries of reincarnation. The peaks and valleys of their inevitable romantic entanglements filled my heart. I look forward to another of his books.
