Sweet, Funny, heart warming

Who was your favorite character and why?

Max, Eventhough I'm not fond of chihuahuas I love the way the author describes how such a small dog should serve his purpose in life. Max is funny, is brave, is strong willed and such a Good Dog!!

What does George K. Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Narrator is so fresh. It's and easy listening novel. I read the first book physically but hearing his voice made it more real. He totally sounds like I imagine a dog's inner voice.

If you could rename A Dog's Journey, what would you call it?

Some people may found it lame and stupid but if you ever owned a dog and bonded tight with him/her, you'll gonna love this book. The description of the world seen from a dog's point of view is funny but also, it makes "human" sense. I loved the insights the dog has about humans and how the author puts into words how a dog experiments and lives this bond with his/her human.

Touching Story!

I'm a declared Dog Lover, therefore my opinion may not be as imparcial as it should. However I must say that this book totally caught me. I was really worried about Lava but what really shocked me was how a little puppy can bend a bunch of tough guys' hearts and it made me realized how soldiers do really need a bond with their humanity. I was so angry about the "No Pet" rules for the military but at the end, love is something that no rule can stop. I must confess that after finishing the book I watche videos of Lava and felt so happy for him!!!

Learned so much about Dogs!

If you support or if you're engaged in dogs rescue this is a MUST. Author takes you through his own journey in becoming a Dog Rescuer and how this "activity" became his style life. Some stories may break your heart but you will also laugh and learn many things about dogs, the way they behave and how to be a responsible owner. You'll also have the chance to listen tips for almost every possible situation. Sula story is great as well as Brando but my favourite dog character was the female Rottweiller Zephyr!

Great book-for-girls!!! Amazing narration !

Bought this audiobook because I wanted to "read" the book before watching the movie. Honestly, the movie trailer was the reason I decided to read this best seller and I`m so glad it did. The story is sweet, I liked the way the author describes in an "earthling" language, her inner journey to God and Divinity but what I did enjoy from beginning to end was Elizabeth Gilbert's narration. She totally brought all characters to life and transmited all kinds of feelings toward them. It was so vivid, like having cofee with your best friend and hearing all about her vacations.

Great story, great narration

Great story, at first is kind of messy as all the plots are upside down (just as the written book) but the two narrators makes it easy to listen and to follow once you get use to the leaps in time and in characters. Story is touching and romantic with an erotic touch. If you saw the movie you will surely love this audibook as it is by far more dramatic and crude.

Totally Unexpected!

I was intrigued by this audiobook because I never saw it before in any bookstore. As I read the editor´s comment I found it "suitable" and decided to download it but without great expectations. So wrong... this book reflects the human face of Coelho himself, its an interesting "biography" of the man behind the magician with many intimate and personal details. If you have read some other titles from Coelho you´ll find many references in this book and will give you some insight on himself as a human looking for perfection. The message of the book is so inspiring: unconditional love in so many expressions. The plot is full of unexpected turns and very interesting and strong characters.

Great Inspiration

You may belive or not in authors theories, you may think it posible or not Besides I found this short inspiring and a great way to expose another "new age" movement/trend or however you want to name it. I also found that the storyline is sweet and has enough touch of drama. Personally I love the idea of my black lab having his own human soul. And for sure, looking forward to reading the sequele... questioning new ideas is what keeps your mind working.
