on a 9 hour + trip that should have been 4, we listed to this and the "Road to Oz" - both helped the time pass despite horrid traffic and a snowstorm! The kids love the radio play aspect of these (though they also love regular audiobooks)

We listen to audiobooks frequently on long car trips, especially when I am solo with the kids (girl, 4 and boy, 7). These radio plays were a big hit with both of them!

Meanwhile, the wicked Nome King has joined forces with the horrible Growleywogs, the terrifying Whimsies, and the wicked Phanfasms in a plot to capture the Emerald City.
