Historia
The Blue Plague came roaring out of the Congo and into the United States - and it can’t be stopped. The Infected become violently insane and impossibly strong. They’re not zombies - no, that would be too easy - they’re something much worse. The Infected are violent and unstoppable, but they can think. They can heal from most wounds. And worst of all - they can reproduce.

Nothing like killing zombies to make you right with Christ! My bad for not reading the reviews I know better.
Title should have been in the religious / zombie apocalypse fiction category. Guess I didn't care for this listen.

Historia
As the first waves of injured bystanders, guardsmen, and rioters arrived at hospitals, it became apparent that a deadly new disease had been unleashed on the population. Whether the virus was naturally occurring or an escaped lab experiment, Cade hadn't a clue and wasn't especially concerned until he learned of its unprecedented virulence, unusual method of transference, and the fact that, according to the news, it brought the newly dead back to life, semi-mindless, and with an insatiable desire to feed on the flesh of the living.

I'm returning this recording to Audible. I've only done this once before in the 11 years and 500+ books I've listen too. I don't need to listen to some authors hate speech to enjoy a good ZOMBIE read. Hate the Zombie, ain't that the whole idea about the undead ???
Zombie's bad humans good. At first I thought OK one remark about immigration was fluff but then it just started to escalate from there. This is not about good and bad its a social rant.
THE END.

Very disappointing. The book is about all the core characters being "they done me wrong" that being either cheated, raped or some other bulls**t and them the slow and tedious revenge. BORING!!!!!

Historia
Twelve-year-old Crispin has lived on the streets since he was nine - with only his wits and his daring to sustain him, and only his silent dog, Harley, to call his friend. He is always on the move, never lingering in any one place long enough to risk being discovered. Still, there are certain places he returns to. In the midst of the tumultuous city, they are havens of solitude: like the hushed environs of St. Mary Salome Cemetery, a place where Crispin can feel at peace - safe, at least for a while, from the fearsome memories that plague him... and seep into his darkest nightmares.

The killer's methods are terrifying. He stalks the basements and underground passageways of New York City. He tattoos his victims' flesh with cryptic messages, using a tattoo gun loaded with poison, resulting in an agonizing, painful death. When a connection is made to the Bone Collector - the serial killer who terrorized New York more than a decade ago - Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs are immediately drawn into the case.

Revisado: 06-01-14
What did you like about this audiobook?
Love all his book's. People should read/listen to all of his book series, not just the Rhyme book's. Listeners please read/listen to The Devil's Teardrop. IMO his best book
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
I can't get any more interested in the genre.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
He is the voice of Rhyme, an ass and a good guy (when he wants to be) all in one.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
Nothing. Perfect as all his other read's.
Do you have any additional comments?
No guessing this time. FINALLY I deduced who the killer was before the end of the book! No spoilers here. Use the evidence board's. It's there. I'm so freaking happy with myself I'll never read or listen to a book again. BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what the old Pitt books were like, good plot some history and action. None of the save the world Bull**** the other series are gravitating toward with every addtional book he "C.C". co writes. You'll get that reference if you read the last Pitt book.
Scott, not every one from Eastern Europe sounds like Adolf or Joseph just an FYI.

Historia
“Dirk Pitt is oceanography’s answer to Indiana Jones”, praises the Associated Press. “Exotic locations, ruthless villains and many narrow escapes - Cussler’s fans come for swashbuckling [and] he delivers”. And now Pitt’s back to find a crucial piece of marine tech that could reshape the United States’ defense program. It is the greatest advance in American defense technology in decades - an attack submarine capable of incredible underwater speeds. There is only one problem: A key element of the prototype is missing - and the man who developed it is dead.

Revisado: 12-05-12
Same old story as the last one and the six or seven before. You can even hear it in Scott Brick's voice. He must be thinking didn't we just record this one, I guess they forgot. Well I'll take their money if they want to give it to me. The first few book's Dirk was a WWII vet. That in itself would make him what 80,85 year's old.

Historia
Determined to find out what happened to her former deputy chief, Jack Fielding, murdered six months earlier, Kay Scarpetta travels to the Georgia Prison for Women, where an inmate has information not only on Fielding, but also on a string of grisly killings. The murder of an Atlanta family years ago, a young woman on death row, and the inexplicable deaths of homeless people as far away as California seem unrelated. But Scarpetta discovers connections that compel her to conclude that what she thought ended with Fielding's death and an attempt on her own life is only the beginning....

Can't blame the reader for what she had to read (we all have to eat) it's her job. Thats why the 5 stars for performance.
