Kinda long
Revisado: 07-19-11
Not my favorite Nelsn DeMille but still entertaining. Its a little long - some book are long for a reason but there seemed to be parts that were 'stretched' for no reason. Still, I liked the book very much and recommend it.

Fun murder mystery
Revisado: 03-12-11
This is a light-hearted murder mystery. Seem like an odd thing to say, but it is. Its fun to listen to and the characters are fun to. Want something just fun and entertaining - get this one.

Barely a 3 and her's why
Revisado: 03-04-11
The plot and idea behind the book is pretty good. There is too much fluff and dialogue that goes nowhere. If it added to character or plot development it would make sense but all the rambling doesn't. And boy what a weak ending. I couldn't wait for the last few hours to be over. I kept hoping it was going to do something - its Dean Koontz. Man, what happened?

Revisado: 03-03-11
This is my first Clive Cussler books - I know, where have I been. What a rush. So much action, great characters in just the right doses. Nothing is wasted in the story. Can't wait for my next one. Read Clive!

Ho - Hum except for the graphic tortures
Revisado: 02-01-11
I was really looking forward to this book. Maybe I listened to too much hype about it, but it didn't live up to the expectation. Fairly weak plot, but boy can he write some really, really graphic torture passages. Yuck. You can write this terrorism and torture stuff without the gritty details and leave some of it to our imaginations. So, if you like that sort of stuff you'll love this.

Disappointing
Revisado: 01-09-11
I'm a HUGE Reacher fan - aren't we all. But, this story barely had a plot and LOTS of very discriptive torture parts. There were s couple parts that I had to fast forward through and I'm pretty accepting if part of the story. OK this was part of the story to an extent - but, WAY overboard. He must have had a deadline and thrown this together and it shows. Bummer.

Revisado: 11-08-10
Another great Koontz scary improbability - or is it? Koontz is a master at building tension to a point you think you can't listen any more. I know from past experiences that I can't listen to these books before I go to sleep - LOL I recommend this book. What fun!

I never thought I'd get into a series about magic. What a surprise! This is book two and I guess I'm hooked. The 'magic' is incorporated into a good story so it just seems so natural - and, they're really good stories. I encourage all to start the series to have a good time.
