Best book I’ve listened to in a long time!!
Revisado: 01-07-18
The story captures you from the start and holds you suspended in anticipation of what is to come next. I looked for reasons to keep listening. The narrator is excellent too.

Awesome Book!!
Revisado: 03-12-13
If you could sum up A Discovery of Witches in three words, what would they be?
It would be impossible to describe this book in only 3 words, but if forced to choose I would have to go with Incredible, Spellbinding, Thrilling.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the fact that the story hooks you in from the beginning and keeps you wanting more all the way to the end.
Have you listened to any of Jennifer Ikeda’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but she does an excellent job in The Discovery of Witches.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found myself holding my breath in multiple places. I don't want to say more and ruin the story for you.
Any additional comments?
As soon as I finished this book, I went straight home and downloaded the sequel.

Historia
The Two Towers is the second volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic saga, The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship has been forced to split up. Frodo and Sam must continue alone towards Mount Doom, where the One Ring must be destroyed. Meanwhile, at Helm’s Deep and Isengard, the first great battles of the War of the Ring take shape. In this splendid, unabridged audio production of Tolkien’s great work, all the inhabitants of a magical universe - hobbits, elves, and wizards - spring to life. Rob Inglis’ narration has been praised as a masterpiece of audio.

Loved this series
Revisado: 03-12-13
What made the experience of listening to The Two Towers the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed all four books. The audible versions were so engaging. In the Two Towers I loved the battle at Isengard, the way the Ents helped bring down Sauron and took back what was theirs.
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character was Gandolf. He always rallied the troops, kept everyone on task and found a way to be inspiring to all the characters; motivating them to continue even in the face of despair.
Which scene was your favorite?
The Ent battle of Isengard.
Any additional comments?
The only thing I found somewhat distracting were the Ent songs, this part really could have shorter.
