Next-Level Romance with Musical Magic!

I absolutely loved getting to know Skylar and West! Finally, a heroine who is both relatable and truly likable!

As a fan of music and musical theater, I was blown away by the experience of hearing the songs that "Skylar" created as I followed along with the story. It added such a rich layer to the narrative.

Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood’s narration is top-notch, and I highly recommend using Whispersync for an even more immersive experience. If I hadn't been listening on Audible, I would have completely missed the special song they inserted during the recording session!

Alyssa Brigiotta’s original songs were an amazing and delightful surprise! (Oops – spoiler alert!)

This book is easily one of my favorites of the year. Highly recommend for any romance and music lovers out there!

A book that MUST be listened to!

This book is an absolute must-read! With an intriguing and suspenseful story that will keep you hooked until the very end, Emma Wilder's storytelling skills are exceptional and Dane Anderson's voice has truly RUINED me for all other audio narrators. The narrators' amazing talents make listening to this book an incredible experience. However, even without the narration, the story itself is enjoyable and worth reading. Don't miss out on this fantastic read!

Incredible story – believable characters!

Carly Fortune’s first work is a straight out hit!
Oh, I just love the characters and couldn’t get enough of the relationship between Percy and Sam. I loved following along with them going from present day to the past. This book left me a wreck! I need more! I need extended epilogue! I need a Charlie story! AJ bridal did an incredible job acting the entire story!

Romeo and Juliet has a happy ending?

I just love a Shakespearean themed book! Romeo and has to be one of my favorite tropes - and this one is is perfectly matched at the end of the Bailey Brothers series with two feuding families and a love story between them!

I just love the nod toward West Side Story as well - using the “Arena” from previous books for the showdown!

Readers need to read the Miles Family series first and then the Bailey brothers - in order (otherwise, many spoilers will occur!). Unfortunately, I started with “The Grump Who Saved Christmas” before I realized I needed to go all the way back to the beginning of the Miles Series and work my way through. Looking forward to reading “Grump” again with a better understanding!

I have grown to love the Haven brothers, who have gone from looking like the evil ones to the misunderstood family. Looking forward to their series!

Grumpy Hero / New Chance at Life Romance

FINALLY I get to read about Heroes and heroines that are a little closer to my age.  They have gone through decisions in life, bad and good, and have learned to work through them.  They have their own bad habits, and flaws that keep them making the same bad decisions over and over again.  But, in the end, they use their life experience for good (and not bad), making decisions that will help others as well as themselves.  I love the story of Grant and Fiona.  I started feeling sorry for Grant, until about 80% of the way through when he makes his “D*$” move and blames Fiona for the crisis that ensues, making his life, and others, 1000 times worse. I could understand that being a reaction – but for it to last for as long as it did without doing anything about it didn’t make sense!

  I did like the heroine in this case.  She refused to be a pushover, even though she tries to be the bigger person and apologize.  The town of Heart’s Cove is one that I would want to live in.  A bunch of wacky senior citizens, middle aged people with hearts of gold to help those in crisis, and teens who are trying to be the best they can be under trying circumstances.  This book has some of my favorite scenes ever in it – and I would love to see it as a movie.  Especially need to go back and count the many times Grant had to take his shirt off!

It definitey intrigued me to read the rest of the series.

Romance on the Spectrum

As a mom of two sons on the Autism spectrum, I was amazed at this insightful story! It gives an interesting perspective of relationships and unique nuances of communicating between neurodivergent individuals. I loved the way their relationship build and how the had to learn about eachother, and build trust and friendship with their own individual obstacles keeping them apart.

By the way, I had no idea what this book was when I started reading —- I met the author at a book signing in Pittsburgh and got a signed copy of the book! Thank you, Chloe! I am hooked! Can’t wait to read the rest of your books!

Bootleg Springs Theory!

Bootleg Springs meets the big bang theory! I just love getting to know June and George! June is the female version of Sheldon from the Big Bang theory! GT Thompson is an incredible powerhouse of a superhero with a wonderful understanding of June’s quirkiness. I love how Claire Kingsley put these two together, seemingly different characters but a perfect match for each other!

It was wonderful to both read and listen to the narration by Steven Dexter and Natalie Duke!

All Signs Point to Another Hit By Lucy Score!

“Because I wanna wake up with you in my bed. I would be there when your eyes open. I want the first smile of your day to go on to me.”

From the first look at her, Silas says, “Oh wow!” Most of us don’t believe in Love at First Site. But you will definitely notice the signs. Silas is a good-natured, easy going hero with an overprotective nature. Maggie is a wonderful, unusual heroine for a rom-com. A sledgehammer-wielding powerhouse with a flaw of not being able to lay down roots due to a messed up family life, she is one of the few heroines that I really like.

The audio is wonderfully acted by Emma Wilder

Another swoon-worthy book written by my new favorite author! Don’t wait for a signs: read this book! You won’t regret it!

Same Time Next Year with a Twist

Colleen Hoover is an amazing writer. The heroine in this novel is an actress…with scars. I could relate so well to this character in this aspect! I hurt so deeply for this poor wounded girl. Several times, I was so angry that I turned off the book and threatened myself that I wouldn’t finish. In the end, glad I did! Amazing writing, and perfect performance Angela and Zachary!

Oh, and Angela and Zachary, don’t be offended by the fictional character of Donovan! He doesn’t know what he is talking about! Voicing audio books is very difficult work and takes special talent! 😁📖📚

Can’t Get Enough of this Beautiful Town

I am so glad I stumbled into this tiny town of benevolence! This second book of the series is so beautiful and heartfelt! I just love the story of Aldo and Gloria. I love how Lucy weaves in the story of book 1 from a different perspective. I also was intrigued how she showed through this couple the subtle similarities between a war veteran, and a victim of domestic violence. The way that that these two lovers together, and just are so meant for each other is a wonderful spry to be engrossed in. I especially loved their little kitten, and wondered if the author is secretly spying on me and took a video of our our Toast Ed Marshmallow! Describe the little hell-raiser to a T!
