Historia
People don't buy from people they like. No! Your buyer doesn't care about you or your product or service. It's not your job to overcome objections, it's your buyer's. Closing isn't a skill of good salespeople; it's the skill of weak salespeople. Price isn't the main reason salespeople lose the sale. Gap Selling shreds traditional and closely held sales beliefs that have been hurting salespeople for decades. For years, salespeople have embraced a myriad of sales tactics and belief systems that have unknowingly created many of the issues they have been trying to avoid.

Why do some always seem to win while others always seem to fail? And why do others win and then fail to maintain their spot at the top? Is it luck? Not to spoil the contents of this book, but no…it isn’t. To see consistent success in your own business, you're going to have to turn the magnifying glass on yourself. Because the fact is, nothing you do—no action you take, no strategic financial decision you make—matters if it doesn't bring you closer to the things you really want. So how do you ensure that you can ultimately reach (and fund) your priorities?

Disappointed
Revisado: 08-22-23
Honestly I was expecting more based on the hype surrounding the book and the description. However there are parts that go off on his reality series and silly stuff. Interesting like many brokerages starting in the last few years. They all have been successful in an up market but let’s see how they fair in a down one. That’s the true test of their success. It’s ok read it you’re a fan of the show or housewives. For actually motivation or success I would not suggest it.

Relationships that matter
Revisado: 05-21-23
I honestly picked up this book because I was interested in specific books on real estate scripts. It just so happens. This came up in the search results. It was a reminder that your business is not that complicated. Go back to relationships. I’m gonna buy a physical copy to share with my team.

Historia
Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all. And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you're in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it's really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.

Good book and sound principles
Revisado: 10-18-20
I liked the content of the book and the sound principles. It was clear who influenced the author as I heard some stories repackaged by the other from Jim Rohn and John Maxwell. The reader was too slow for me so I had to listen at 1.2 speed. Otherwise good
