I'm sorry I don't like giving bad reviews but slapping Venus' picture on the cover?? knowing full well that she literally has practically nothing to do with this book? This written before the term Click Bait but it's the precursor to it for sure... I was ready to share Venus' thoughts and inspire kids ... after all, her story is inspirational. I tried to go ahead and listen to the book but it's a story or stories I could very well hear my neighbors tell... we all have a story of inspiration in us... its not fair to try to make us listen to the neighbor's story down the street... we don't know them and we're certain that they don't wanna hear our story either....

She is funny raw and becomes like a friend, I needed tools. This has transformed how I interact, see life and its just impactful for every aspect of our lives... My family doesn't know what to do with me, b/c this has made me so present and aware, and to know that I am enough! I'm still a work in progress, but this book is what I need to free myself from shame... never has anyone ever talked to me about this culture of shaming we live in.. bc with shame comes feelings of not enough, anxiety, over thinking, anger, regret and on and on.... ask yourself, would you get on a roof with out practical tools? Yes pray you don't fall, but you need practical stuff too to help get the job done. So I combine this with my spritual growth, and its been amazing... I so not attached to the outcome of most stuff now... I could go on and on and on.... love this book, get it, read it, give it to anyone you care about... they will thank you... its a Christmas present for several friends I've told about the book, they asked to borrow my copy... ah, no. But I will gift them one as a surprise! LOL! Annnd you need Audible so that you can play and re play and listen while you walk, ride etc... I even used to listen as I was in the bed, as a bedtime story, .... I love this book, and you will too. The End.
