This book gave me everything I needed and everything I didn’t know I wanted! The overall storyline was great and the narrators did an amazing job. If you’re into love, drama and some kink…this is the story for you! 10/10 highly recommend!

If I would have believed the negative reviews, I would have missed out on a really good read! EJD has a way of pulling you into a story and making you feel completely invested. This was the case with Freckles and her husband Charles. To witness a demise of a relationship in one of the realest ways was alot to absorb, but definitely made for a great story! Also, I enjoyed the narrator and had no issues w here performance. I highly recommend this read.

Jordan was left at the alter my the man she thought she’d spend the rest of her life with. She decides to travel on what would have been her honeymoon solo and luckily, she meets Amir Hamilton. They begin a lil Impromptu baecation and the rest is history. The story was really cute and there was just enough spice. I recommend if you’re looking for a cute read with an HEA.

I enjoyed the overall story, however the main character Raven worked all my nerves. She kept making the worst decisions. She dated the character Mizan who treated her horribly even though she really wanted Ethic, the actual good guy. Ethic tried giving her advice that she constantly ignored. Other than that…the overall story was interesting and definitely kept me listening. (Via audible) I will be reading the Ethic series to learn more about my favorite character!

Let me just say, that I was NOT ready for what this book was going to give. I read a brief description about a man falling for his best friends widow and was unsure if I would truly like it. Fortunately, I had heard so many good things that I decided to give it a shot AND BABY.....IM SO GLAD I DID! One thing that makes a good romance, in my opinion, is angst! I want to be taken on a journey of longing, sexual tension, desire. Ms. Seegars definitely did that and was an amazing captain along the way!

Ok, So to briefly describe this enemies to lovers romance, Sloan ends up taking a job with her deceased husbands best friend. The same best friend who she has always assumed hated her. Dominic has definitely had his sparring matches with Sloan but little does she know he has always had a soft spot for her and after an incident where he comes to her aide, he decides to let it be known just how deep his feelings for her go. His revelation jars Sloan but she eventually succumbs to his advances.

I was completely enthralled in this story from beginning to end. I loved the relationship between Sloan and Dominic! It started out kinda rocky but by the end, you were completely routing for them. AND THE SPICE.....10/10!!!!!! J.L really got me out her looking for my real life Dominic Alexander!

If you need a super cute, romantic and spicy read....this is the one. I highly recommend!!

This was definitely one of my favorite reads this year. Kennedy Ryan does such a great job pulling you into a story and getting you so wrapped up into it that it's hard to say goodbye once you've completed it. This definitely happened to me when I read "Before I Let Go".
This story centers around Yasmen and Josiah, a divorced couple who co-parent their two children and run a successful business together. They have been divorced for almost two years when Josiah decides to start dating a woman who happens to be pretty close to them both. They've been divorced for awhile so you would think that Josiah dating would be no big deal right? Wrong! The issue is that Josiah and Yasmen still love each other dearly but loss they have both suffered unfortunately snipped away at the threads of their marriage. That riddled with unresolved issues, leaves us with two people who love each other but has a certain air of discomfort when in each other's presence. They both feel that the other has moved on and neither want to step back in a time where they're reminded of their worst moments together.
Josiah and Yasmen get an opportunity to expand their restaurant in another city and while traveling, they end up stuck together in one room giving them the opportunity to discuss the events of the past. This opens the door to Yasmen and Josiah repairing their relationship.
This story was filled with love but also had moments of sadness and grief. I went through so many emotions with this couple. There were times when I was happy, angry, sad and especially giddy! The best element (in my opinion) was the level of angst! Their inner monologues when talking about one another had me in my feelings and the spicy scenes were..."chef's kiss"!!
This book deserves nothing less than five stars! I throughly enjoyed reading and will recommend to anyone looking for a great romance.

Ms. Joan Vasser does it again. I am so in awe of the stories about Black and his brothers. Ms. Vasser takes us on a ride in every book and this one is no different. There are characters you love, characters you hate and characters you hate but then grow to love. This book centers around James and his battle with the “Black Cracker” who shot him in the face in the previous book. There were a couple of slow moments but the overall story makes up for that. I am definitely adding this to my all time favorite series. And I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again..I didn’t even think I like historical fiction but with this series, I see how wrong I was! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great read!

There are a handful of books I’ve read this year that I would place at the top of my all time favorites list and this book is one of them! I enjoyed “Black”, the 1st book in this series, but Elbert took it to another level. I wasn’t even a fan of historical fiction, or atleast I didn’t think i was. However, the story this author tells is so good that you become completely immersed in it. This book is full of characters you love and you become wrapped up in their stories. To briefly describe this book, Elbert comes across a woman he’s enamored with named Anna. While they are out enjoying a regular day, they are both kidnapped and sold to a plantation. They are rescued but the events that come after keep you enthralled when Elbert wants revenge. I highly recommend this story if you’re looking for a good read. The narrator, Jakobi Diem also does a stellar job conveying these characters. I’ll definitely be recommending this to all my friends and can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series! Joan Vassar Is becoming one of my favorite authors. Thank You for such a great book!

When I first began this story, I thought that it would be something that wasn’t for me. It was slightly out of my norm but I decided to stick with it and I’m glad i did! The story is about a slave named “Black” and his battle of freedom and love. The more you read, the more you wanted to keep reading. Glad I didn’t give up on this because it was worth it!

Nolan is a McClain brother who happens to be a twin. He’s a great guy but he’s slightly different than his brothers from the previous books in the series. It’s super cute how he met Bridgette and was just nervous to approach her, but baby, when that ball got rolling…you absolutely love him! This series truly has me looking for a man with the last name McClain bc they love and love hard! A great read that I highly recommend!
