Under such pressure to stay alive—let alone grow—it’s easy for entrepreneurs to get caught up in a never-ending cycle of "sell it—do it, sell it—do it" that leaves them exhausted, frustrated, and unable to get ahead no matter how hard they try. Full of stories of other successful entrepreneurs, The Pumpkin Plan guides you through unconventional strategies to help you build a truly profitable blue-ribbon company that is the best in its field.

Great business plan. Great book. Even better as an audio book, with Mike Motorbike adding in bonus content and comments as he goes.
The only thing I would change is the occasional foul language. I know Mike warns at the beginning, and yes, it does happen in business, but I still prefer my books without it. Having to skip listening to them in the presence of younger ears, when there is so much content that children could benefit from in here, bugs me. But still a great book. Thanks, Mike! - Steve

Revisado: 01-11-23
Thank you Will! The last time I worked in a restaurant was at McDonald's back in high school and my first summer back during my first year of college. Doesn't matter though. As a business owner, this was so good to listen to! Will does an incredible job of reading it. The audio book wins in my vote versus a written page. If you have the book, get this audio version as well!
Also makes me envious of all those who had the opportunity to have experienced EMP back when Will was there. I'm confident though that other restaurants will be the better thanks to Will's work in the industry, so it's a win for all of us!

So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top? Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

Wow.
Revisado: 01-15-19
Having not yet seen the movie (I did purchase the Blu-ray at about 2/3rds into the book so I can watch it now that I've finished the text), I don't remember why I picked this up on Kindle and Audible, but I am so glad I did. In my opinion, this is one thorough, detailed, well written book, with an audio book performance to match. The attention to detail by Tom Clancy in his writing, and by Scott Brick in his reading performance, is amazing. I see now why Clancy was debriefed after releasing the book. I'm sure folks were wondering where he picked up all this head knowledge of submariners. Whether the technology and techniques he writes of in The Hunt for Red October were true or not, he presents then with enough authority to submerse you into the storyline as if it were a history book, not a novel. I highly recommend reading this, and listening to it.

Great novel, great series, and great narration!
Revisado: 07-03-18
Really enjoyed this book in the series. Stands up on its own if you haven't read the prior George Smiley Novels, and rewards you if you have read them. I enjoy the way John le Carré sets up the scenes and goes into drop details of the environment and characters thoughts, not feeling on these all the time, but a great balance in my opinion.

"You are either good or bad, and both are dangerous". It would have been an easy job for the Circus: A can of film couriered from Helsinki to London. In the past the Circus handled all things political, while the Department dealt with matters military. But the Department has been moribund since the War, its resources siphoned away. Now, one of their agents is dead, and vital evidence verifying the presence of Soviet missiles near the West German border is gone. John Avery is the Department's younger member and its last hope.

Great details, & great narration in the Audio Ed.
Revisado: 04-27-18
Have now read the first two books in the Gerorge Smiley series. In addition to the detective work and surprise details around each corner, A Murder of Quality continues the great scene detailing that draw the reader (or at least me) into each page. The audio narration in the audio book is very complementary.
