I’ve really enjoyed the first two books

Out of the blue

I’m not sure how this even came to be in my library but I’m happy it did. I throughly enjoyed the story and listening to the surround sound effects through headphones made it that much better. The story was for me short and sweet as I’ve been listening to a lot of long trilogies or seemingly endless series lately. Can’t wait for more like it.

I realized this was just the first book of a series but that said, once finished, I still want to jump right into the next one. Until then, I’m holding my breath in anticipation!

Caught on the second cast

I bought Skyward within days of its initial release on Audible and retuned it after not getting into it a few days later. After a dozen or so more books I decided to give it another try.
I’m so glad I did. Brandon Sanderson’s been one of favorite authors since reading The Stormlight Archive (and then everything else) but with Skyward I initially felt he was targeting a different audience, just not me. Was I wrong, after starting over and reading further into the story, I was hooked. Now I can’t wait for a follow up book.

Looking forward to the next book

I really enjoyed this as a first book in a series. My disappointment with this story is the abruptness of its ending. Making it feel more like an episode of a TV program, where your left in suspense to find out whodunnit. So, yes I will read the next book but I wish it could stand alone.
