Good book.
Revisado: 10-21-22
It's a very good book with a lot of detail to the various aspects of music. I didn't care for the narration. It Lind of sounded like a computer generated AI speech program. Otherwise a good book.

Historia
After her adventures in the 17th century, Xanthe does her best to settle back into the rhythm of life in Marlborough. She tells herself she must forget about Samuel and leave him in the past where he belongs. With the help of her new friends, she does her best to move on, focusing instead on the success of her and Flora’s antique shop. But there are still things waiting to be found, still injustices needing to be put right, still voices whispering to Xanthe from long ago about secrets wanting to be shared.

Loved it!
Revisado: 10-13-21
Marisa Calin really is one of the best narrators I've listened to!! I enjoyed the second book as much as the first (although, I have to confess, I wish there was a little more romance). Brackston's fine details of 17th century clothing, food and antiques keeps me intrigued and wanting to hear more!

Historia
A year and a half into our marriage, I found out my husband had been having an affair with a 19-year-old for six months. I filed for divorce and left. Two weeks later I met a man, and we fell madly in love. It was a fairy-tale romance for a month and a half, and he convinced me to join him on a romantic month-long vacation in Italy. Forty-eight hours before we were supposed to get on a plane, he told me he needed to go by himself. I was devastated. So, I had a decision to make. Either stay home and be heartbroken, or go travel Europe for a month by myself.

This is life
Revisado: 08-09-20
Any age woman can relate to Gabrielle's story. The power of travel, when it comes to soul searching and relationships, is invaluable! I absolutely love this book and will recommend to all my friends that need a little push to love themselves more and get over the trials of what we call "life". Melissa G

Chapter breaks

Please match up the Audible chapters with the book chapters. That would be very nice.
