Not a romance book

I try not to be negative when it comes to reviews bc every book is a creative labor of love but this book was not enjoyable for me. I felt nothing for the characters. Nothing. Not like or dislike, I didn’t root for them or hate them. Nothing. Other than the main character Willa having a thing for five guys, there is nothing remotely romantic happening. The world created had great potential and was very well thought out. The dialogue is fun and quippy. Still it wasn’t for me and I won’t be listening to anymore in the series. :(

I love this series!

I’ve loved this series since Poison Princess! The only drawback for me is the narrator. She is very talented but her voice sounds very young. Childlike. It can be distracting from the story but that’s just my opinion.
