The story is entertaining/heartbreaking but the pace is a little slow. The author talks slowly and the writing is a bit fluffy, so it takes awhile to move the plot forward. (We listened to it at an accelerated speed and it didn't feel rushed at all) However, once my fiance and I got into the heart of the story, we were hooked. It was a very powerful message that left us both feeling convicted and encouraged. The ending is so perfect that it made every exaggerated pause was well worth it!! We all need to hear this story.

This was a great book to listen to on a long car ride. It effortlessly keeps you laughing and engaged with the story line. I don't think my fiance (male) was prepared for it to go into so many details of a woman's personal life but he still really enjoyed the book. We were both impressed with how Tina Fey managed to breakout out of the Liz Lemon mold so quickly in the book. We were afraid that we should only hear the TV character but Tina immediately showed a depth and maturity that went far beyond 30 Rock. Tina is an inspirational woman and this book is a real treat!
