Historia
Dr. John Delony decided to get to the root of the issue by mapping out a plan to understand where our anxiety is coming from and the actions we can take to change it (because he's been there too). Over the past 20 years, he's learned through research, personal experience, and walking alongside countless others that there are six daily choices people have to make to create a non-anxious life.

Historia
Trauma is a fact of life. Veterans and their families deal with the painful aftermath of combat; one in five Americans has been molested; one in four grew up with alcoholics; one in three couples have engaged in physical violence. Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, one of the world’s foremost experts on trauma, has spent more than three decades working with survivors. In The Body Keeps the Score, he uses recent scientific advances to show how trauma literally reshapes both body and brain, compromising sufferers’ capacities for pleasure, engagement, self-control, and trust.

Historia
As David Brooks observes, “There is one skill that lies at the heart of any healthy person, family, school, community organization, or society: the ability to see someone else deeply and make them feel seen—to accurately know another person, to let them feel valued, heard, and understood.” And yet we humans don’t do this well. All around us are people who feel invisible, unseen, misunderstood. In How to Know a Person, Brooks sets out to help us do better, posing questions that are essential for all of us: If you want to know a person, what kind of attention should you cast on them?

Historia
My friend, we live in a culture saturated with sex. Everywhere you turn it's there - discussed, debated, demonstrated, and used to sell anything and everything from cars to shampoo. And the world's message is loud and clear: You have to be desirable, attractive, and sexy in order to be loved. But I know far too many people who have been burned by sex - not only as children but as teens and adults - simply because it wasn't sex according to God's directions. And that breaks my heart...and his.

Too much false doctrine incorporated
Revisado: 04-16-21
Disagreed with several things and false doctrine through out.
i did agree with somethings but she pushes the falseness of born in sin.
If anyone believes this they can check out the Youtube channel What Does The Bible Say? Johnny Robertson
This channel goes into detail explaining we are not born in sin and there are also debatea on there. It will be well worth your time.

It’s Not About You is a short introduction to the next chapter in the life and career of perhaps our greatest living self-help writer.
