Compelling as historical thriller, character study

Documentary style story

The narration and writing style made the story feel like more of a technical guide on tradecraft and agency bureaucracy. Where the 'Spy and the Traitor' felt like a gripping story similar to the Chernobyl HBO miniseries, this book felt more like an old school documentary.
Still an interesting listen, but not a gripping page turner.
