Historia
In the peace following the Great Mage Hunt, the king’s long-time mistress is revealed as a sorceress. Locked away for the safety of the kingdom, bounties are placed upon the heads of the seven children she birthed. Before they can be found by the kingdom’s mage hunters, the seven turn to in-fighting and murder, stealing each other’s magics to grow stronger. After the battle on the stone plains, only three of the mage-born bastards remain alive.

Historia
Victor Bayne's job as a PsyCop involves tracking down dead people and getting them to spill their guts about their final moments. It's never been fun, per se. But it's not usually this annoying. Vic has just moved in with his boyfriend Jacob, he can't figure out where anything's packed, and his co-worker is pressuring him to have a housewarming party.

Historia
Leave a note and slip away to Paris alone, Adin thought. It'll prove to his vampire lover he doesn't need 24/7 supervision, Adin thought. Instead Adin lands in a surreal situation that isn't going to endear him to Donte - at all. As he awaits an old foe, Ned Harwiche III, for a prearranged meeting, Adin is head butted, tossed into the back of a car...then gets the chance to acquire an artifact Harwiche had been bidding on.

I loved this audio performance! The story was compelling, the narration terrific!
Revisado: 06-18-15
Honestly enjoyed the complexity the author wove into the characters. The stories about vampires lately seem to lack any insight into the condition of vampirism, instead glossing over that part. In that way the paranormal element of the story is overlooked. Z. A. Max field made it as important to the plot as it should be. My problem is that I won't find it easy to wait for the next audio book. But I simply must, because the story is so much more when heard from the mouth of Caleb Dickinson. This man knows his accents.

A wonderful, interesting cast of characters brought to life by the narrator. I love a good whodunnit, and this story was told expertly with all the nuance and thoughtfulness intended by the writer, Josh Lanyon.

Historia
Repressed scholar Percival Endicott Whyborne has two skills: reading dead languages and hiding in his office at the Ladysmith Museum. After the tragic death of the friend he secretly loved, he's ruthlessly suppressed any desire for another man. So when handsome ex-Pinkerton Griffin Flaherty approaches him to translate a mysterious book, Whyborne wants to finish the job and get rid of the detective as quickly as possible. Griffin left the Pinkertons following the death of his partner, hoping to start a new life. But the powerful cult that murdered Glenn has taken root in Widdershins, and only the spells in the book can stop them.

Interesting characters and storyline.
Revisado: 02-26-15
Narrator seems unsure in the beginning but then I realized the main character was insecure and a bit bumbling so the narration made perfect sense. I've listened to all the books and am listening again.
