It has been a minute since I have listened to a Melissa Foster audiobook and I have missed her sweet with heat stories. Seaside Serenade is a novella but is still a complete story. The characters, Brock and Cree, have the steamy attraction and the sweet love that I look for in her full length books.

The narrators are perfect for the tough alpha Brock and the sassy strong willed Cree. I could picture these characters as they found their way into each other’s hearts and lives. The narrators can make or break a book and Samantha Brentmoor, Sean Masters are the perfect choices.

This is book 2 of the Choices Series and I highly recommend listening to book 1 first. I loved listening to this book. In book 1, we heard the story from mostly Lily’s perspective. In book 2, we hear the story from Jax’s perspective. I do not usually enjoy this style but this book was not a repeat of book 1, this book told so much background and things that Lily would not have known about. The reason for Jax doing what he was doing, the feelings he was having as he went through life loving Lily were explained. I really enjoyed hearing this part of the story.

I listened to this book instead of reading it. The narrators, Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly, are amazing. They have Jax and Lily figured out perfectly. Their voices told the story with all the heartbreak, love, and emotion that the characters and story needed. I felt myself falling into listening and forgetting to keep moving on with what I was doing. I just wanted to listen.

Wow! Ellie Wade chose the best narrators for this sexy, steamy hockey romance. I listened to this book while I was working and I found reasons to stay in my office so that I could listen to just a few more minutes. I love the voices of the narrators, the characters, and the story.

Fake marriage, age gap, single mom, and sports romance all in one book and it was done perfectly. Beckett and Elena have the heat turned up from the first meeting. Elena tried to fight it and Beckett refused to give up. Listening to these two circle each other and then have a fake marriage while trying to not fall in love was so fun. It was no secret, to anyone, that they were losing the battle and Elena had to find a way to let Beckett into her life…for good.

One Pucking Heart could have been a much longer story and that would have been okay with me. I would have loved more of Beckett and Elena but what I was given was so much fun. This book is for sports romance readers who like some heat with their hockey player romance.

This is my first time listening to an Ellie Wade novel. I randomly picked one from the Audible Library and decided to start with the Choices series. This is a series of three books and I just downloaded the other two books in this series. I cannot wait to go to work tomorrow and start listening to book two.

Ellie Wade wrote a great book and then she picked the perfect narrators for her book. The dual narration of Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly have the tone that brought the characters to life. The story was brought to life while I was listening.

The story was sweet and sexy with a medium spice level. I like Jax and Lillly. The characters without a doubt soulmates. Their relationship is not easy and but it was real. I enjoyed that the storyline stayed true to the age that the characters are as the story progresses.

Audiobook Review: I could listen to Savannah Peach and Aiden Snow read to me all day long. Oh wait, I did. I could not stop listening to Talk Wicked to Me. The story is perfect, and the narrators’ voices brought it to life. Savannah and Aiden brought Melissa Foster’s story to life. I could feel the love that Emerson had for her baby and also the love that Baz had for Emerson and the baby.

eBook Review: Baz…oh Baz! I have waited for your story. I needed to know who would help you find a life that made you happy and showed you all the love that you have to give. Melissa Foster wrote the perfect book for Baz and Emerson.

I love that Melissa Foster writes book with characters that are not perfect. Emerson is pregnant and alone, she is strong enough to make it on her own but having support is always good. From the first meeting Emerson and Baz felt the heat. How could a sexy alpha male fall for a pregnant slightly hot mess of a women? I was not sure but I was excited to see how their story would come together. It came together perfectly, with plenty of heat, lots of sweetness, and so much love.

Audiobook Review: These narrators are the best! They are able to take Melissa’s sweet and spicy story and bring it to life with just their voices. Sutton and Flynn’s story is a dislike-to love and I could feel it all. The narration makes this a 5-star listen, all the way around.

eBook Review: Melissa Foster did it again. Enticing Her Love is a book that I could not put down. The relationships that she writes about are real, strong, sexy, loving, romantic, and steamy. The characters are so wonderful. They are not perfect but they are perfect for the book and each other.

The tropes of this book, dislike-to-love and forced proximity, are not always my favorites to read but she wrote them so they are my favorite right now. I loved seeing Flynn take care of Sutton, keeping her safe but also teaching her how to keep herself safe. Sutton’s spunk and willingness to take his direction while also not letting him walk all over her made her the perfect match for Flynn.

Whether you are a fan of Melissa Foster’s or new to her, I recommend this book. Melissa Foster is a must-read romance author that has Alpha males and strong female characters.

Read all her books!

What We Keep is my first time listening or reading a Jennifer Millikin book. I really enjoyed it. I love dual narrators. Victoria Dickson and Wesley Mercer had the perfect voices to bring the story to life.

I could feel Avery's love for Gabriel and I love their story. I love their relationship, their joys, and their pains. Everything about the couple made them realistic and relatable. I was invested in them figuring out what was next for them and the way to get to whatever was next.

I did not realize that this was part of a series, although I had not read any of the series. I jumped right in and never realized I was missing anything. I am going to go back and listen to more of this series just because I loved the characters so much.

Runaway Bride and Second Chance Romance

I listened to this audiobook in one day, while working. This is my first from Adriana Locke and her narrators, Shiloh James and Lance Greenfield. The narrators were good at bringing the characters and their stories to life.

A runaway bride and second chance romance storyline are fun. I enjoyed watching Laina figure out life out of the spotlight. Luke is the perfect person to show her the way to live a happy life. From the moment Luke found Laina in his house the sparks were flying but there was caution to be taken. A broken heart, again, would not be good for either of them. They were cautious but open to figuring out what was still between them, if anything.

There were some parts where I felt the male narrator was too matter of fact and off on his voice and that bothered me but the story was enough to carry me through those parts. This Much is True is a fun listen and I look forward to hearing more of her stories.

Audiobook Review: I do not believe that there are better narrators for Archer and Indi’s story. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow are perfect! The voices of Andi and Aiden brought the characters to life while telling of their sweet and steamy moments. I had already read the book so I was familiar with the story, but I feel like the story was brand new to me while listening to it. I recommend listening to the story if you can but if not, go read this book!!

eBook Review: OH Archer, you break my heart. As I learned more and more about his story I felt like he just needed the right person to help heal his aching heart, Indi is just that person. She is perfect for him. Indi takes no grief from Archer, she does not pity him, and she calls him out on his S***.

Archer’s history involved his twin brother, Jock (read his story in Tempted by Love). Since I have read that story, I liked that Melissa Foster did not re-tell their entire history, but she gave enough details to let any reader new to the Steele family know what had happened. Indi knew of their history and knew that Archer had not put it all behind him. She did not push him to do that, she let him work it all out in his own time while not letting him keep it bottled up inside of him.

The heat.. oh my gosh!!! I am not sure the heat between Archer and Indi was even on a scale. Their attraction was impossible to deny, their time together was full of heated looks, sexy touches, and words that made me blush. I LOVE IT! Never was there a doubt that “the last time” was not going to happen. Indi could not walk away from Archer any more that Archer could stay away from Indi.

If you are looking for a hot, steamy, sexy book pick up Caught by Love. I read it in 36 hours and could not stop. The characters are amazing, the setting is perfect, and the story is sizzling.

Holy! This book had me in tears

Audiobook Review: Holy…this book had me in tears. Aiden Snow and Savannah Peachwood, the narrators, brought the charaters to life. Sasha, Ezra, and especially Gus were characters that became real people to me. I can hear Gus saying “Sugar” and wanting to be involved in everything. The emotions between Sasha and Ezra are so real! I could feel their love from the very first word and it only grew as I listened longer. I have read A Taste of Whiskey before I listened so I knew where the story was heading but it is like I was listening to a new book.

eBook Review: Sasha has grown up loving Ezra her entire life and then she falls in love with his son, Gus. The rules of Redemption Ranch state no dating of employees allowed so she has pushed aside her feelings and just enjoyed being friends with him and Gus. Until she can no longer hide those feelings, they are stopping her from finding anyone else to love. No one can stack up to Ezra.

A Taste of Whiskey has everything that I look for in a Melissa Foster book. There are phenomenal friendships, amazing families, tough alpha males, strong females, and so much love. The main characters, of course, fall in love, but there is so much other love in the book. Characters from other books in this series make appearances and it is fun to catch up with them and see where their lives have taken them.
