I've had horses for many years and still found things to think about from this book. So much pressure is put on horses and riders alike. I hope to apply some of the philosophies in this book of less pressure.

Enjoyable story

Very cute, light story, just what I was in the mood for. narrator had a beautiful voice but strange rhythm. Some said up speak but to me it sounded like every sentence was a final statement. I didn't have a problem differentiating characters but I prefer not being read to like a child. There's a fine line between changing the voice and "doing voices". The narrator didn't always do the strange inflection, so I hope she stops it in her next reading, because her voice is lovely otherwise.

I finished this because I was so bored.

I did not love this book. it was a nice break not to have constant swearing for a change but the constant mention of prayer got very tedious. Story was ok but slow and not much of interest happened. There wasn't much tension at all for a legal "thriller". I'd skip this one, I was more bored by the end than when I started it.

I finished this by fast forwarding constantly to the last half of the chapters. I can't even say how tired I was of hearing this main character struggle to remember nothing. Don't waste your time, I'm sorry I wasted mine. Also the sound engineering was poor, you could hear where they were inserting rereads all the time. It was very distracting. I finished it, so I feel obligated to give it 2 stars.

This was hilarious

I was at first extremely annoyed by the horse show environment. It seemed that the author learned most of what she knew from Instagram and watching one video on horse training abuse. It got worse and worse until I was outright laughing. I then started to enjoy this silly story. If you are a horse person and need to kill time, a lot of time, listen to this. There are so many levels in the extent of incorrect equestrian information this book. You will laugh your head off.
I appreciated the lack of swearing and sex, which I'm totally burned out on.
Purview does not mean vantage point btw lol.
The reader was ok, silly man voices and mispronounced some words that weren't very hard, and her serious mystery voice got a little much, but I've heard a lot worse.
