Out of 10 stars I would do 9, only because...
Revisado: 05-07-20
The only 10 stars i would give is to Lem and Tolkien. i Only say 9/10 to respect the other works of Stanislaw that I believe are greater than this one. I fear the translation into the limited English language may have hurt this book. Time to learn Polish just to read Lem!

Historia
Ignatius Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke up the next morning with a thunderous hangover, a raging headache, and a pair of horns growing from his temples. At first Ig thought the horns were a hallucination, the product of a mind damaged by rage and grief. He had spent the last year in a lonely, private purgatory, following the death of his beloved, Merrin Williams, who was raped and murdered under inexplicable circumstances.

Wow, glad someone recommended this to me
Revisado: 08-12-17
This books hits right in the feels over, and over, and over. I was hooked by the end of chapter two and I will without a doubt say that this is a book everyone should read. It resonates with the core human emotions and urges that we all face. It feels as though the book is meant to motivate you to be a better person
