This book confirmed everything that I thought and I have to say that not only is it disturbing but it is downright scary. I think everyone should read this book because you will see the truth. And that is that we are clearly not where we need to be as people and a nation.

I read this book and thought it was wonderful. This time around it was even better being heard in Ms. Angelo's own voice. I could see the subjects in my head as Ms. Angelo told the story. I would recommend this story without hesitation.
