if you don't like slow openings you'll have a hard time with this book. it's nothing but setup for the action story.

so this first book is nothing but set up. there really noting going on escape the set up for the story. it was pretty character driven and understanding why the world is F. so for those wanting to know about the spicy scenes there is only one but it have 2 povs and it's literally the last bit of the book other then the bad guy end critics. there's no powers used of really seen other then the prolog.

this is the author's rejected D&D character's backstory. it has horrible dialog, a barebones plot, no personality for any character, there op main characters but this one is the mary sue of OP characters, 85% of the book is just a exposition dump.

also I have 3 hours left and there's been no steamy stuff so if you thought about picking this book up for that don't bother.

it's a alright listen but the 4 and 3 starts are right.

so like other reviews said it's written like it's fanfiction. all writers borrowers from other works. but they change it up a lot that sometimes you may not know what was the inspiration from. but here you can totally tell what they are coping.

so if you care about spoilers then don't read from here.
the whole last 3 and 2 hours of the book is plucked straight from lord of the rings where the fellowship toys to go throught the mountain pass then throught the Dwarven mines. that anime tropes did get annoying at times and the Doll having 4th wall breaking dialog was really poorly done and adds nothing to the story at all and so far after hasn't come back up.

so I was wondering how you pull off a Yandere haram.

so the story is interesting and how the author is pulling off a haram of yandere's. spoiler this first book doesn't really feel like a haram. if I say anymore it'll ruin the book. world building is stand too solo leveling with cyberpunk 2077 bent. it has 2 steamy scenes around middle of the book.

so a few bad things.
1: everyone talks like high schoolers back in 2000's. the phrase " no homo " was used several times.
2. there are some plot drive scenes that don't make sense. spoiler warning why did they need to spend one night sleeping on cots. they had there rooms packed up before they could get back to there rooms so why did it take a full day to bring there stuff to there new rooms. reason why is because the author needed the bathroom scene.
3. this is good and bad but the this story is very anime. which isn't bad except for the MC guy has the anime isakai personality. which is im a nice guy with no personality.


a big pro is during the spicy scans the female VA was moaning and breathing heavily in the background while they read out the lines.

this book is just terrible there's no story. the worst pacing I've ever read/listen to. I bought it looking for a fantasy story with sex. well just like the story and pacing the sex sceans sucked and not arousing at all. the characters had no personality i mean plank from Ed Edd &Eddy has more personality.

it's a male fantasy. no plot, uninspiring characters, sex scenes sucked, everyone's a 10 out of a 10, world building is the laziest I've ever seen. the book opens up with the main character forgetting her fedora back in her office. then she get kill by being hit by a truck and she used the word Truck-kun. ya there is no originalty in this book.

so it's another book of a guy writing a girl. next a boat plays a big part in the story, and he knows nothing about boats and how they work. the main character has no personality. constantly make stupid decisions.

I'll edit after I finish the book.

God this is a white knight fantasy.

in the story one of the girls commit on how he thinks of other women as more then just a sex object. right after he thought about a girl's curbs how big her best are now they arnt being pushed down by clothes and how he can see the gap between here thighs being back lit. the mc hasn't had a single thought that wasn't about on hot and sexy these women are. but he can't because they don't have any personality. if it wasn't for the narrator giving them different voices you wouldn't be able to tell who is talking. this dude doesn't understand what love is. all he talk about is sex, lust, and passion. again he can't say one thing he loves about her that wasn't about her looks.

this is a solid 3 star book but it could of been 4

this thought keep going through My mind."I need a Translator." I understand that this book pulls heavily from Japan but your writing for a English readers. what really took me out of the story was when they would say anything about time. the author did use it seconds, minuets, hours. this may sound petty in my review but it's completely different with listening. another point that took my out of this story is the author uses heavy anime/manga tropes. this isn't bad in of itself but the rest of the book is a well written story that doesn't read like a manga so have the two intertwine is very jarring and I feel it brings the story down.
