Historia
Although serving may imply weakness to some, conjuring up a picture of the CEO waiting on the workforce hand and foot, servant leadership is actually a robust, revolutionary idea that can have significant impact on an organization's performance. Author Jim Hunter champions this hard/soft approach to leadership, which turns bosses and managers into coaches and mentors.

Contributes energy clearity and depth

Unusually Poignant (moving inspirational and touching but also slightly painful). I was impacted his evocative writing style. This was unexpected by me in a book about leadership. He challenges some of the approaches used by high output leaders. Then Hunter inspires readers with the desire to perform at even higher levels using skill sets and approaches that encourage personal, team, and corporate health. He writes with a clarity that can't be avoided. A standout book on leadership, contains both breadth and width. Even on concepts familiar to most leaders Hunter takes you to new places. this book goes into our "Leadership for Life" training course. Over used and I'm asking for forgiveness in advance but... this is a must read for seasoned veterans and aspiring up and comers.

Historia
Now, for the first time, Seth Godin offers the core of his marketing wisdom in one compact, accessible, and timeless package. This Is Marketing shows you how to do work you're proud of, whether you're a tech start-up founder, a small-business owner, or part of a large corporation. Great marketers don't use consumers to solve their company's problem; they use marketing to solve other people's problems. Their tactics rely on empathy, connection, and emotional labor instead of attention-stealing ads. When done right, marketing seeks to make change in the world.

As usual Seth kicks the ends out of my box.
Revisado: 03-25-19
Seth is presenting a refreshing yet challenging and thought provoking look at one's approach to marketing. For me his content allows a deeper understanding of the process of both reach and target. He carefully invites a rethink of your presuppositions. This is an excellent book that will keep you from walking too close to the cliff of your knowledge.

Contributes to powerful positive culture

my brother used these questions with me during a problem solving conversation. The effect of these simple questions allowed for amazing focus and clarity. He told me the source of the questions and I immediately purchased the book and have been using them ever since. An interesting bi-product of applying this material is better decision making coupled with a Moore creative relaxed environment.

There are a lot of myths about productivity--what it means to get things done and how to accomplish work that really matters. In our current era of innovation and information overload, it may feel harder than ever to understand the meaning of work or to have a sense of vocation or calling.
