PROS:
-I enjoyed how it teaches vocabulary in context, each chapter introducing new words to slowly build up your lexicon until you are comfortable making your own sentences.
-Instead of just memorizing words, you see them used in everyday scenarios, with lots of chances to practice your pronunciation.
-The prompts at the end of each chapter were a nice way to keep me engaged and come up with my own answers.
CONS:
-Of around 50 chapters, 10 of those chapters are related to learning verbs. I found those 10 chapters learning verbs to be more dull compared to the 40 basic vocabulary chapters.
-I found the narrator to be too enthusiastic at times, it is not an epic novel, it’s an educational book.

As someone trying to understand and jump into the bond market due to recent events, I found this book helpful as a beginner.

The examples using real life events were the most helpful to me and gave me confidence that it's not just theory. The chapter on risk management and economic indicators was especially eye-opening, giving me a better understanding of why bonds are good to add at any age.

Not all of the chapters were relevant to me, I did skip the Tax Implications chapter so I can not speak to that.
Overall, strongly recommend it.
