I thought judging the Willow Waters garden contest would be fun. A nice way to get to know a few more of my neighbors in this beautiful Cotswold village. I’d get to see how the best gardens grew, maybe even nab a few tips for my own garden. I did not expect the competition to be to the death.

Beautiful and entertaining

I’ve listened to all the previous books and each one is so unique and intricate. As with the previous ones the characters are so well written and interesting. This is truly a heartwarming story I felt. Don’t want to ruin the plot but I saw how all of the characters grew by the end of it and the impact they all had on each other’s life.

Disappointing, whiny and dramatic main character

I really wanted to like this book. I appreciate the back story and the main character being shaped by her past and I was even excited to see how it would spin back and reveal itself . I could not make it through the book to get there. The main character just had a bug up her ass the entire time. Everything offended her, everything bugged her and was a big drama of whining and complaining. It was just too much for me . God forbid someone told her a joke she’d flip out lol I just couldn’t . The story would of been pretty good if the main character wasn’t such a stiff annoying brat .

David is extremely knowledgeable and as always goes deep to find validity of the material he discusses. He presents research and examines every point he makes. The information is eye opening and it's not just given at face value, he has done the work for you and presents all the evidence, scientific research, and studies and goes into detail about it all in a way that is engaging and fascinating. Truly a brilliant mind.

What did you love best about First Grave on the Right?
The main character is fantastic. Her witty and sarcastic sense of humor makes the book. I love mystery fantasy and this book sure delivers. It's got a great story line, interesting characters and underlying secrets to be solved. I will definitely be listening to the whole series now.
