Such a sweet murder mystery!

I enjoyed this story completely, but I must admit: the author sharing after the story ending made me choke up a bit, which seldom happens. Listening to what he shared made the already wonderful mystery all the more perfect.
Headed off to listen to the next episode!

An assortment of interesting characters!

In addition to characters that have so many hidden stories, the antiques and antiquities also had such strong stories of their own! The narration was pleasant to listen to, and the dialogue in the story kept my attention. I do recommend this book 📚 🌟

I’ve enjoyed the character of Smith throughout this series and this recent episode is, again, just perfect. I highly recommend this entire series and this title is just a great story! Narration is perfectly suited, each character exceptionally voiced.

Each narrator gave a compelling performance and the stories, interwoven as they were, blended perfectly. I had no idea what to expect, and the first few minutes were a bit chilling…and it continued to be great every following minute! I highly recommend!

Such a clever and fresh take on a murder mystery!

The narrators were perfect for this story, elevating each perspective to the stand alone mystery they were. I enjoyed the mystery—a bit like Clue meets The Enigma of Room 622. Just a well written story inside another story! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can we get more mysteries that follow the 10 rules?

In a time overrun with unreliable narrators (I can’t remember the last BOTM Club choice where the book description didn’t list “unreliable narrator” in the overview) it is refreshing to have a mystery we can listen to (or read) that fairly shares clues to logically arrange providing a slight chance to solve it before the final reveal. It makes mystery reading FUN again.
The clever way clues are dropped make this book un-put-down-able!

Golden age of detective stories…again!

The clever prose, thoughtful and thorough character development, descriptive setting — like the kind of description that allows you to pull up a chair in the room with the murders, or family members— all these things AND A GREAT PLOT! Listening to this was such a gift to myself (thank you very much Mr.Narrator!)
All the stars for this one! And I’ve already downloaded the next in the series to listen to once I finish this review.

The narration of this unique story is one of the best ever and perfectly pairs with a story unlike anything I’ve ever read or heard. Best to not read what it is about and just step into the adventure cold. Enjoy!!
