Historia
What can science teach us about good and evil? When are people responsible for their actions? What impact do genetics and upbringing have on moral choices? You will explore these and many other questions in Catherine A. Sanderson’s 15-lecture audio course. Professor Sanderson’s clear explanations of the best research from psychology, biology, and neuroscience will equip you with frameworks for understanding human behavior. Early on, you’ll clear an inevitable hurdle: understanding how scientists define the notions of “evil” or “good.”

Terrific presenter; surprising, profound insights

Disappointing
Revisado: 02-11-20
I looked forward with much excitement to this course. The subject matter, as it were, promises new ideas, arguments and vibrancy. Disappointment! The delivery is just monotonous narration and reading! Uninflected. So by default, i just couldnt go farther than lecture 2. Waste.

Historia
In the seven centuries since the death of Jelaluddin Rumi, in 1273, the world has come to know and thrill to his sacred poetry. In concert with the tabla and sitar, his writing is part of a religious tradition that is believed to excite "spiritual heroism", embracing the holiness of love, lamentation, battle, and the longing for God.

Loud Background Music is Annoying!
Revisado: 02-01-16
The beauty of a background music is to stand veiled behind and not to be competing for attention.
