a nice short book which could be used as a workboo
Revisado: 03-21-23
This book is a selfhelp book and will help you to get a step more integrated man. it will teach you how to serve the society as a leader.
i learned that books such as this are not the right format for me in audio. this is more of an workbook and thus for me to realy get something out of it i need to take pen and paper and answer the questions in a way when i write. That way i get much better results and remember things.

this book helped me a lot
Revisado: 07-29-22
This book has given me a lot of insight of how can i function in other sense. I see my self as a person which can develop my self in the area of Emotional inteligence. It also teached me how to not take things personal. When someone is angry at me i need to not listen to the words but instead to the emotions.
Overall i think this is a book which gives life lessons.

Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.

What are the grand dynamics that drive the accumulation and distribution of capital? Questions about the long-term evolution of inequality, the concentration of wealth, and the prospects for economic growth lie at the heart of political economy. But satisfactory answers have been hard to find for lack of adequate data and clear guiding theories.

Does say nothing about inflation
Revisado: 05-22-22
I was recommended to this book, because it will let me understand why little inflation is good.
It did tackle a litle of the inflation topic, but does not explain why inflation is good. And it certainly does not explain how much is little and why central banks are aiming for 2% inflation.
This book is a lot of numbers thrown together to convey ... i do not know what it wants to convey. Because it can not even convey why we have income inequality.
And for the author everything is spectacular and other speculatives. He does not understand color nianses. Only extremes. Either positive or negative.
Not recomending this to anyone.

a bunch of books thrown together
Revisado: 05-22-22
This is just a bunch of books thrown together in one audible. It's not realy to learn a lot of that. The books have different readers and different topics. No topic goes into details that you could learn from. The basics in this books you could learn from youtube videos.
Maybe its good as an intro for someone who does not know where to start.

fascinating facts, but tend to not listen to it
Revisado: 10-13-21
This book has fascinating discoveries described and starts to run a fascinating though of what ageing is, and why do we think we do not wanna be too old.
The book somehow did not hook me to listen to it constantly. somewhat it remebered me of Mathew Walkers book Why we sleep. which also did not hook me, but got surprising facts, which every human on the world needs to listen. in my opinion.

Historia
Throw Out Fifty Things is truly an eye-opener. According to Blanke, our lives are so filled with junk from the past—from dried up tubes of crazy glue to old grudges—that's it's a wonder we can get up in the morning, never mind go to work, care for our children and parents, and just put one foot in front of the other. Blanke wants to start a movement of people across America throwing out 50 things (magazines count as one!) that will help liberate us from the stuff—both physical and mental—that clutters our lives.
