Historia
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

Great reading by the author himself!
Revisado: 07-06-22
I love the usual narrator for the series, but it was interesting hearing the author narrate his own story! he did an amazing job with the story both writing and reading it! this story has more of the PI part of Harry's character which has been missing in the most recent main story as it continues to increase in the magical scope of things. it was a great listen and I look forward to the next one!

Compelling story
Revisado: 08-13-20
While I’m not a huge fan of the shifting third person narrative, the twists and turns of the story demand it. The subtle hints that let you know something isn’t quite right, add up to some interesting developments as the story progresses! This is a great start to a series and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here!

Worth the the wait
Revisado: 07-20-20
The book was an excellent addition to the expansive universe that Jim Butcher has created! A must read for any fan. Not the best in the series, but it’s a sold book. This is not a stand alone so make sure you read all the books before picking this one up!

Good start to the series!
Revisado: 11-12-19
The story has an interesting, but not unique concept. Character stats get a bit repetitive and can feel long in the audio book. But he characters are interesting and help make the story feel real in a magical universe. There are some good twists to the story that keep it interesting through the reading. The performance is good, but sometimes they do a few weird echoing effects that detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. I can’t wait to see where this series goes as I continue to see the characters and world grow!

Historia
Since time immemorial the Spires have sheltered humanity, towering for miles over the mist-shrouded surface of the world. Within their halls aristocratic houses have ruled for generations, developing scientific marvels, fostering trade alliances, and building fleets of airships to keep the peace. Captain Grimm commands the merchant ship Predator. Fiercely loyal to Spire Albion, he has taken their side in the cold war with Spire Aurora, disrupting the enemy's shipping lines by attacking their cargo vessels.

Good “read”
Revisado: 04-17-19
Very good book! Jim Butcher is an amazing author and this is one of his many amazing books! Highly suggest the Dresden files as well, though this book is entirely different. It’s a bit confusing at first, he prefers to let the ready learn the world through conversations instead of defining terms. This makes a realistic conversation, but it takes a little time to learn the world and all the terms used within it.

I have a preface to book 7 for personal reasons, but this book is amazing! It’s a non stop thrill ride from literally the first sentence of the book and continues the action through the whole book till the end! This book is impossible to put down once you start!

Amazing series!
Revisado: 01-25-19
I picked up storm front after seeing a post on Facebook about the series and couldn’t be happier about my purchase! This book was no exception! Seeing a wealth of growth for the main and side characters of the series, we finally start to get into the real story of the series now that all the players are introduced. The story was amazing in its own right, but also adds so much to the Dresden verse!

amazing additions!
Revisado: 09-13-18
some of these stories habe been featured in other collections so they are not all a new read, but the new one was long and very worth the collection! be warned, you will need to be up to date with the series to read the last two stories, but the rest are very good about being a mostly stand alone story while also enhancing the Dresden files universe. I loved this collection and it had many stories that I had not read as I haven't picked up any of the other collections he has been featured in, the first story is one of my favorites. weather this is the first stop in the Dresden files universe, or you're an old fan, this collection has somthing for you! that and it's a lot of hours for one credit!

this was the best book so far! had a good balance of the horror and comedy that I needed to get me through the night side. I enjoyed the twists and turns that the story put me through. with each book I feel like I know more about the night side, and the layers this book added makes it feel more and more like a real place.

good second book!
Revisado: 08-28-18
the book was a good addition to the series. solid story and well performed, but a little short. the next couple of books look longer, but thks one was only 5 hours. it got a little horrific at a point, but I'm sure some of you are looking for that in a story. over all an amazing read!
