I think this book could have been condensed but it was interesting and kept me guessing a lot. A bit more suspense in some chapters would have been beneficial but overall good

Slow

This narrator really emphasizes 'he said and she said' it's pretty annoying. Slowest and most unbelievable of the reacher series so far.

Good story great narrator

The first few chapters contained an excessive amount of "I said, he said, I said, he said" repetitive back and forth. It got better a few chapters in thankfully or I would have had to abandon the book!

Some parts of the story were a little predictable but there were also some good twists. Overall the storyline was good and I found myself thinking about it a lot and wanting to make extra time to listen to it.

The narrator was excellent, smooth versatile voice, well suited to the character and a rare male that can pull off reading for a female voice.

Kept me listening but not really a thriller

I was expecting more thrills, action and suspense but instead was surprised but lots of romance instead. The book was well written though and one of the best narrations I have heard. Just needed more ACTION!!

Would you listen to Silent Scream again? Why?

Yes, well not that exact book because i never listen to the same one twice but i will read book #2.

Which scene was your favorite?

Not sure. The scenes that have stuck with me the most are the ones written from the view of the killer; OMG talk about graphic!! I actually felt sick. Well, done though. Urgh.

Any additional comments?

I think too much was crammed into the end, it was a maze of twists and whist they were all very good twists - it felt rushed. The narrator started very 'wooden' but thankfully eased up as the book went on.

Some decent scientific grounding - most of book is recipes for smoothies. It was interesting overall though

Very poor audio book. Some good technical at the start about liver function but actual information on cleanse is extremely poor. It makes wild sweeping statements about what you should do in life without relating back to the topic at hand. For example - sleep more and you'll concentrate better and have a better relationship. OK.... and this is titled a liver cleanse book, why??!!

Furthermore, the person reading this book sounds like a robot and makes it near unbearable to listen to.
