Historia
In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

Interesting Perspective
Revisado: 06-04-24
I appreciate the "behind the scenes" view and perspective change of Circe. I've always been intrigued by her as a mythological character and this does her justice and provides some context and imagination of how she might have viewed things. Fun story, pretty good characters and written well. Voice acting was well done, not over the top but pleasant and just enough voice to keep the characters separated.

Historia
Human assassin Artemis Entreri and his dark elf companion Jarlaxle have come to the demon-haunted wastelands of the frozen north at the request of their dragon patron. It doesn’t take long for them to find themselves caught in the middle of a struggle between powerful forces that would like nothing more than to see them both dead...or worse. But Entreri and Jarlaxle aren’t just any wandering sellswords, and the ancient evils and bitter blood-feuds of the wild Bloodstone Lands may have finally met their match.

Drizzt Who?
Revisado: 03-09-23
Probably would never have listened to this if not part of the Legend of Drizzt series. Little to no Drizzt in this trilogy but it has been surprisingly one of the better bits of story telling and compulsive listening that I have heard to this point. Book one of Sellswords was really good and this book was even better. Jarlaxl and Artemis are an entertaining Duo and I have not yet found myself missing the appearance of Drizzt and his companions in the least. On to book 3!

Amazing Trilogy
Revisado: 10-12-22
I've always loved this series. Read them as a youth long ago and it was every bit as good listening to it again as an adult fan of fantasy. Lot of people critici8the narration but it's not as bad as it seems. I admit I enjoy the narration of the Legends of Drizzt much more but by the end of the trilogy you can pick the voices of the characters before he even reads the name so I say it was pretty good. The story itself is timeless and really enjoyed it finding myself smiling in nostalgia from time to time remembering how much I enjoyed it years ago.

Interesting Look at Drow Society

Great story that delves into Drizzt's origin and drow society. Held my interest and enjoyed the performance of Victor Bevine.

A Fun Listen
Revisado: 04-26-22
As great as the four times I've already read the book. I enjoyed listening almost as much as reading it. It was nice to be able to listen while I did other tasks. My first Audio book and glad it was this one. The book and this audio version as just so much better than the movie and invoke so much nostalgia of my younger years growing up in the 80s.
