I really was thinking this book was a total waste... then she talked about the time management part and my ears perked up. It isn’t about time management, but it was a nice bonus to a book I wasn’t really getting anything out of.
I felt like there was no “aha” moments at all. And the 50 tips at the end were things I felt I already knew from either common knowledge or had heard from someone else already. Not my favorite book. Definitely not worth a credit.

I before purchasing, I had read reviews that the narrator was really hard to listen to. At first, I was like no, he sounds totally fine and he has good substance in a book… But then around chapter 5, it seemed like he was gasping for air after every single sentence. Then I imagined him starting to blow up a balloon because it literally sounds like a balloon is filling up with a giant breath of air every time he breathes in. I was hoping that it was just one chapter and it would pass but then it lasted so long I couldn't even finish the book. Like I really wanted him to stop talking and breathe deeply and catch his breath so that he didn't have to gasp for air anymore.
Other than that I think I would've really enjoyed the book. His voice was great and presentable and a reviewer mentioned something about his jokes not being funny but I thought they were fine. Whatever. But I just couldn't do it anymore. 😕

Great, but way too repetitive.

The first half of this book was really hard for me to get through. It was like the longest introduction EVER to get to the point. I don't know what chapter it was that finally started talking about how to implement the rule into your life but it felt like it took Forever.
I also felt like it was just the same thing, same story over and over and over and over and over...... just hammering it into my brain with repetition. And maybe that's what some people need?? But it felt relentless.
I think the major points of the book could easily take less than 2 hours total even including some of the success stories.
For me, the chapter on anxiety was cool, and the end chapter was good. The end sentence, my favorite and most powerful part of the entire book.

Would I recommend this book? No. I would say go watch an interview with her that's under a half an hour and you will get the same thing out of it.
