Historia
Author Gary Thomas approaches a subject that few pastors or Christian writers have dared tackle. In Every Body Matters, reaches all the way back to the apostle Paul, who wrote that we need to prime our bodies to become, "an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work."

Historia
Dr. Crabb envisions a day when communities of God's people - ordinary Christians whose lives connect as husband to wife, brother to sister, friend to friend - will accomplish most of the healing that we now depend on mental health professionals to provide. God has deposited within us the power to heal soul-diseases and that power is released to do its work as we relate to each other in revolutionary new ways. In challenging, practical language, Dr. Crabb shows us how.

This book resonated with me deeply. The body of Christ has long forgotten its role in people’s lives. My hope is that the people who read this book put it into practice ❤️ I surely am!

Christians know what Jesus Christ has done — but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is "gentle and lowly in heart." This audiobook reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today.

Historia
The Bible tells us that the goal and purpose for every Christian is to be “conformed to the image of Christ”. God wants us to genuinely walk in his agape love, display his wisdom and depend upon his power, not just talk about these things. This audiobook will help you learn how to moment-by-moment renew your mind. No matter what your situation or what you have been through, God will make you more and more like Jesus. What is the mind of Christ? What does it do and how does it work? What are the "hidden chambers" of the temple, and how do they relate to our own inward, secret part?

A Must-Read/Listen
Revisado: 01-03-23
A friend recommended this book when I was struggling in my marriage and other relationships. This has by far been one of the best books I have ever read on experiencing God’s love and loving others with that love. The recording may be older, but the content is timeless and totally relevant today. I love her voice and listening to the stories throughout. I loved it so much I ordered the DCD Bible study!

Historia
"Who am I becoming?" That was the question nagging pastor and author John Mark Comer. Outwardly, he appeared successful. But inwardly, things weren’t pretty. So, he turned to a trusted mentor for guidance and heard these words: "Ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life. Hurry is the great enemy of the spiritual life." It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.

One of the best books I have encountered on creating a positive thought life with scripture. Satan presses in hard, we need to be prepared for the battle. Easy to listen/read with practical easy-to-follow steps for changing the way you look at things. This book can be life-changing if you are willing to follow the steps and put in a the effort. I recommend reading in an accountability group (guys with guys, girls with girls) or at least with a friend. I was so inspired I am giving this book to many I know and will be reading again! Highly recommended!!!

Historia
We're in the middle of an epidemic of average. So-called "normal" people get up every day, go to work, do what's asked of them, leave promptly at five, and return home to sit on the couch and watch TV. Society tells us that this is what it means to lead a balanced life. Don't stress too much or work too hard. Your career isn't everything. But Grant Cardone thinks this preoccupation with balance has really just given an excuse to be mediocre.

I wanted to like it
Revisado: 07-09-20
The best part of this book is this guy’s story. I just couldn’t get into it though. It seems he repeats over and over the same thing. I wanted to be inspired, but instead I was bored, and a bit annoyed by his constant repeating that you have to make a lot of money.. This book was suggested as part of motivating me in a fitness program. I didn’t even finish it, and it didn’t motivate me.
