Loved the twists but didn’t like the narrator
Revisado: 06-08-24
Per usual, love the suspense and twists I didn’t get until the end. But the voice actress was so annoying it was distracting!

No one wants to be a victim, but most find the event too hypnotic to ignore. In order to save their traveling carnival from bankruptcy, the Binewskis are creating their own brood of sideshow freaks. Narrator was the BEST
Revisado: 04-19-24
I read this as a free book on audible something I rarely do. It Hass to be one of my top favorite books of the year. It’s graphic and the characters are endearing. There was a lot of plot twist that I did not expect. Unlikable characters were made likable, and I was shocked. The narrator made this audible 20 stars!

Historia
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common. They were all murdered by the same man. He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves. He’s gotten away with murder three times now. The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered. Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. And they won’t rest until they find a way to stop him. The haunt is on.

Very unique
Revisado: 02-15-24
At first, I thought this was going to be like every other book of a murder. I loved the unique storyline of the three women’s perspective on death. I also like this version of afterlife. I hadn’t heard it before this book also made me cry. I wasn’t expecting that just a thought of a young life cut short or maybe I was thinking about my own life how my family would be or what I think the afterlife really is the only feedback I would’ve given is I wish the girls voices were a little bit more distinct, because sometimes I couldn’t figure out who was who by their voice. It wasn’t that big of a deal because every chapter was named after the character.

Historia
In a quiet residential area in London, a couple is discovered bound and imprisoned in their own home. Savagely battered and severely dehydrated, the worst revelation is yet to come: their eight-year-old son has been abducted. But when the body is found and forensic evidence turns the case on its head, revealing disturbing parallels to events in Detective Caffery's own past, Caffery realizes he's dealing with much more sinister forces than he'd anticipated - and finds it increasingly difficult to maintain his distance.

Love the performance, the plot, sad about the end
Revisado: 02-15-24
This book is a page Turner couldn’t put it down. Really enjoyed the performance and the very uncomfortable storyline. Probably not for everyone, but it was well written and gave a glimpse into a horrific world. I also like that the main character was flawed, but still likable there were scenes that made me very uncomfortable, but it was a gripping story.

Narration good
Revisado: 12-23-23
I liked the character development but it was very “preachy” and “all non vaccinated people are ignorant” and that grew TIRESOME. Yes Holly is a bit of a hypochondriac but this went too far in virtue signaling. FYI : I’m vaccinated- yeah! I didn’t lose my job (which was the true threat).

I put this in my top 5 of the year except it was too short. I love the character development, description (especially the bleak and terrible parts)… I hope they make a movie about this.

The monotone voice but enjoyed the book.
