unique
Revisado: 05-14-17
The story gave a unique take on human looks and I chuckled at the potato slug comparison. The narrator seemed to have a lisp which was a bit distracting but I enjoyed this romance with a touch of action.

Historia
Beauty knows the Beast's forest in her bones - and in her blood. After all, her father is the only hunter who's ever come close to discovering its secrets. So when her father loses his fortune and moves Yeva and her sisters out of their comfortable home among the aristocracy and back to the outskirts of town, Yeva is secretly relieved. Out in the wilderness, there's no pressure to make idle chatter with vapid baronessas or to submit to marrying a wealthy gentleman.

It was ok
Revisado: 04-20-17
The story fell short for me. I found myself hooked in the beginning but the romance felt dry in the end. I also feel the male narrator did amazing while the female voice was just ok.

Good story, okay narration
Revisado: 04-18-17
Melanie Dickerson is one of my favorite authors and I quite enjoyed the story with a smidge of espionage and female heroine....I only wish the narrator didn't use such a high pitch for the characters as it ended up sounding like Minnie Mouse or Hewey Dewey and Louis ducks!

A very, very bad traveling minstrel.

Poor Narration ruins story
Revisado: 04-11-17
Once you get through the awful brattiness of the Princess in the first half of the story the book could have become both intriguing and enjoyable......the high pitched narrator ruins it though and sounds like a whiny 8 year old.

Wonderful Story, Okay Performance
Revisado: 04-10-17
I thoroughly enjoyed this fairy tale reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast. I would have liked to read even more interaction of the couple while he was a Dragon or for her to have at least seen him in his beast form. The narration was a bit choppy in sound and at times you could hear a child or traffic noises in the background of the recording which was a bit odd.

Good Story, Poor Narration
Revisado: 04-07-17
The story was refreshing and touched on some fantasy/sci-fi with their abilities. I enjoyed this historical fiction BUT the narrator's voice was extremely grating and was a struggle to listen to.
