I have heard several friends say they were put off, by the difference between this book and book one, but I'm convinced that listening to the Audio version alleviated much of that, because Moira does different character voices. Loved it can't wait for book 3

But they all come to Cin City: Cinderella, the capital of the Kingdom of New California. Maybe it's because of the glitter. Maybe it's because of the giant iceberg in the middle of the Gulf of California. And maybe it's because they got nowhere else to go.

Pulp Noir Dystopian Fantasy at its best!

This book is tropey in all the best most brilliant ways. The story, writing and the narration drop you beautifully into an unexpected and wonderful pulp detective story. Moe Lanes story is fun, inventive, and smart. Sally Stewart's performance is delightful and everything I wanted it to be!

Amazing look at a classic from a fresh perspective

It was wonderful to get this story told from the other side, the mother's side, and the reader was a delight to listen to. I would enjoy hearing more if your works with Sally reading them.
