The discussion on the structure and the functions of the brain were fascinating. I was, however, less interested in the authors musings on how his work should factor into artificial intelligence.

William Hurt is Amazing!

I'm not a big Hemmingway fan. I appreciate his ability to set a scene and describe a character, but I love a book with a good plot, and that is not part of his style. This book, however, was very enjoyable because of the artistry of William Hurt. He is amazing!

Bill Bryson presents an amazing amount of information in a highly entertaining format. He is the perfect textbook writer!
This book was written in 2003. Play close attention to his chapter on viruses and pandemics. 17-18 years before the fact, his analysis perfectly predicts the COVID19 pandemic. Uncanny!
